Funny that Tyler tried to play balls to the wall and Jamie was able to keep his head and turn it around for the truely deserved win. Tyler even brought his daddy to ref, still couldnt!
Absolutely, truly deserved win by Jamie. Coming back slowly but strongly. But let's just appreciate the effort that Tyler gave to this particular battle. Dude's sick and very skilled. Taking it back to round 3, I know he shoulda re-done his switch back heel in the game vs Joslin. But the worse part of that battle, was the whack ref. Cause the rules said "defensive toe drag has a bigger margin for error but will ultimately be decided by the ref." Although, it might not change the result, but still a bummer. And it also shows in this battle. Where Berra let Tyler went away with the defensive FS 360 shove. And Berra would also let Tyler went away with the BS bigger spin, but Tyler was like "screw it, Imma call the redo myself this time". If anything has been shown to us from the BATB13 finals, it's Tyler's character development. Cause my suspicion said that Tyler was under one of his sponsor's pressure to be BATB13 champ. Might be wrong tho..
Crazy thing is that Tyler set it in offense first try against Cole for the 3rd place battle. So he has them but not consistent enough. Really surprised he fell on the nollie inward heel bigspin, don’t think I’ve ever seen him miss that. Tyler’s strategy was right, if you get the set against Jamie then you have to go for the throat or it’s over, as Jamie proved when the set changed hands. Tyler vs Jamie was the craziest match both last season and this season. People need to give Tyler props because he’s literally in the top 2-3 flat skaters alive and has ninja-like style and precision. Amazing style and I’d like to see a street part from the guy. Surely he’s a good gap skater with how well he stomps crazy tricks on flat.
That's the beauty of watching Jamie, you just never know what he's gonna pull out of his endless bag. Last year the death blow was the merlin twist and now the mike mo flip. He's always learning new shit and many tricks no one even thought possible. He's like a modern day Rodney Mullen.

The switch tre revert really deserved a re do, wasn’t done right. Also Tyler really wanted to win with those double flips and wack pressure sex change trick … so glad Jamie put ‘em down

If Jamie had gotten ahead in the game he would have given Tyler and Nick Perfect, and take letter only for Luan at every event 😅 Tyler think Jamie only knew basic tricks lol, he land Switch Double style Cody Cepeda, Sw 360 Flip style Luan, even a pressure stylish, Tyler was armed but got so excited to kill in the T that he capsized the Beetle in end lol. It's an impossible late flip, wrap with the backfoot late back foot flip. If you wrap the impossible at a certain angle you can do the late flip by dragging your foot upwards.@@twista101287

I disagree. You make it seem as if Jamie wins these battles doing extra special stuff.. look at this battle for example: it’s Tyler trying to bomb him out of the gate. Jamie gives him letters on basic stuff with killer tricks on the last two letters - tricks Tyler can do btw. Case and point: Jamie is consistent at basic tricks AND has killer tricks too
