  • Today for #WolfeRidgeWednesday we are bringing you a detailed overview of the conveyor package option available on our 28C and 35C Compact Commercial log splitters.
    When you place your order, if you go with the optional conveyor package, this is what you are getting:
    - 8 foot hydraulic powered conveyor with 81X chain
    - Hydraulic valves for conveyor height, and conveyor forward & reverse
    - Hydraulic oil cooler package with 12 volt fan - thermostatically controlled
    - Conveyor specific sorting table and frame
    - Revised drawbar with TWO added adjustable drop leg jacks
    - Double stack hydraulic pump as standard - conveyor operation does not interfere with splitting power or speed
    I mentioned in the video that this will not be available as a retrofit to existing splitters, due to the frame difference and the cost of all materials.
    All pricing is live on our website, here is a link to the Compact Commercial:

    Fantastic addition to the WR line of products and well thought out. Good idea on changing the naming of the product on the plate. Great walk around on the conveyor package, and explaining why it doesn't make sense to add to a current model.

    I like the attached conveyor just to move splits away when working.

      Yeah that is one of the biggest things when splitting with a faster machine like this. Getting the split wood away.

    Is another shop addition needed at Wolferidge mfg.?? With all the innovations & improvements; it wouldn't suprise me. Great job & demo.

    It would be nice if you can add this conveyor to the current machines out there. If you came out with it as an accessory it would be an instant buy for me.

    • @WolfeRidgeSplitters
      @WolfeRidgeSplitters  Месяц назад +1

      It is explained why it's not an add on option toward the end. It would be a very involved upgrade, probably costing more than the difference of selling your existing machine and having a new one with a full warranty. Thanks!

      Pretty slick bob. Are you able to order grizzly bars for the conveyor? By the way …. You can’t beat a wolferidge!

    • @BacktoBob1
      @BacktoBob1 Месяц назад +1

      @@timpoore7823 Thanks Tim! No grizzly bars for this one. At this point anyway.

    • @BacktoBob1
      @BacktoBob1 Месяц назад

      If it was an add on option, it would end up being like $6-7k, plus labor. New hydraulic pump, hoses, add on valves, different drawbar, hydraulic oil cooler, and of course the conveyor itself. At that point you're only $2,500 away from an FC-16 standalone 16' conveyor.

    Will a four wheeler tow it better from back.
    Seen the new home owner model with the lift on ohio woodburner..
    It will give the Eastonmade ultra a run for its money because cycle time is close and Eastonmade cant put a lift on the ultra with out a good configuration... you should give one to Chris with in the woodyard to demo a vs's with his ultra.
    If your looking for a up and comer to give one to id like to tose in Jay with Homestead Jay..
    Maybe even the young couple in Alaska on Simple living alaska because they have a large following and no one has aproched them yet.

      Have not tried to pull it from the other side yet using the ATV I think it will be too heavy on the conveyor side and want to lift the rear of the ATV.

      This works for guys filling bags and baskets best. If you are doing bulk piles, then a stand alone conveyor and splitter combo would be recommended. Thanks!
