- You folks recently asked myself and Warlord to fly the Ki-43-III and my word am I glad at that recommendation. This plane is utterly insane. It literally handles like a UFO and with two 20mm cannons in the nose, it completely dominates unsuspecting pilots...

The first fw-190 (it’s absolutely incredible, it’s so good).
Ki-43-III Ko at 3.0 in Chinese tree has same flight performance but better instructor and Japanese 12.7’s instead of 20’s
I swear the Japanese cannons have like some secret elder ring potion to make absolutely slap planes out of thr sky

(I still have a 4:1 KDR, i just don't get insta-kills, I need to BnZ and chase them for a bit)
Yeah, Japanese 20 mils are by far the best in my experience. Meanwhile German cannons, even with minengeschoss, seem to do absolutely nothing.

I absolutely adore the Japanese tech tree. You don't get to see too much of it on youtube. I think because it's so challenging. It does have a few gems ( Mostly on the premium side), but not a lot of meta. Now that Phly is back, you think you could convince him to do Japan ground battles with you? You two have great chemistry when playing together.
I think that can be on the cards, I'll be editing for him again soon!
It's also a fun CAS plane! (I'm using the Ki-43 II and it having two 250kg bombs is a menace at its Br)

well, IIRC they were often called the Army Zero by american pilots, cause they fought in a similar manner and looked pretty similar (at least to a pilot trying to dogfight one)

You should try playing the Ki-44 II. It has an insace climb rate and it's genuinely one of my favourites on the japanese air TT.
A lot of the JP tech tree is on the list!
love your videos man! team japan here. please take out the A7M2, one of my favorite planes in WT. don’t forget to take tracer rounds. if your up for a challenge take out the N1K2-ja, br is gonna hurt but is a great plane!

@@silentfan i grindied france with premium yak3 and its so fucking broken it isnt even funny i turn fighted a zero while damaged and won but thats more of a mistake from the zero
yea yak3 la7 are only planes beside zero that elevator doesn't compress to UFO at high speed

I remember that not too long ago, i figured out how to perfectly MEC this plane and also the perfect tactic, OMG this plane is a MENACE, and it's so fun because, it's can be ridicously fast in straight line with 120% mixture at low alts (below 800mts), and turns fast as fuck XDXD.

Haha I told you this plane was insane. Honestly the japanese army line is very underrated, the Ki-61 with german guns hit hard, the Ki-84 is good at everything. The only navy planes i like as much as them are the A7M2 which is literarily if you took a Zero and made it better while addressing some weaknesses and the J2Ms which are climb rate UFO's
A7M2 is something I want to play too as well!

Man, ten years ago those japanese cannons couldn't diddle a mosquito and now...
You complained that 109s are not what they used to be, in my opinion because of growing competition, the other planes are somehow better and better and the 20mm mg 151 cannon is really bad at the moment, so I say try the F-2, I know it's only BR 3.0 but the F-2 works great, and 15mm canon is insane now!
