My Brother. There is yet to be a song you do where I don't get chills or start tearing up, If not just flat out crying, somewhere while you're singing. This is one of my favorite Blues songs. What mattered most will always be my favorite of your songs though. Have you ever thought of doing a cover of Vince Gills I still believe in you? Are you being sarcastic? The eye roll emoji seems appropriate if you are. I've heard a lot of better covers for this song like Prince, George Michael, Adelle, Reba McEntire and some R&B singers.
E Smith, you most have a different taste. Forget numbers or public recognition because Ty has a much better voice than all of them. That’s right I said it. I have seen him live along with the others you mentioned and no one comes close to his singing ability especially live. He doesn’t need a big band to mask how good his voice really is. Most of those singers you mentioned use auto tune and lip sync. Ty does not so that should tell you something.

I didn't say he wasn't good. I just said there are better covers. George Michael and Prince are both amazing singers and artists that can easily blow Ty out of the water. They're famous for a reason.

My three favorite interpretations of this song are Ty's, Luke Evan's version, and also George Michael's. All three versions are very different from one another. The only thing they have in common is that the three singers are gay men who have made this beautiful Bonnie Raitt classic their own.
