- Today we're hitting up all the major sites in Matsuyama including Matsuyama Castle (via the ropeway / chairlift), Dogo Onsen (well known as the inspiration for the bathhouse Spirited Away), Ishiteji Shrine which has a super scary cave and loads of statues and drinking a lot of mikan (an orange a bit like a satusuma) juice!

That looked like a really bizarre shrine, never seen one with so many weird things! Looking forward to the long train journey, I love those!
It was! The shrine seems to be famous for the weird stuff it's collected, that pot at the end of the cave was particularly interesting!!!

The view from the cable seat going down was pretty amazing (city and the mountains). And all the mikan juice looked so delicious. The hot drink you had seemed interesting. And finally the clock was cool. Anyhow, thanks for sharing, looking forward to the next vlog.

Hey, really enjoyed the vlog (as always lol). Matsuyama looks so amazing, especially the castle and the onsen! And those juices looked so good haha, makes me want to one day travel there to try them (love orange juice). Thank you for showing so many different aspects of a lesser known/vlog area in Japan. You're really brave for going through that tunnel, I would have definitely been too scared! But it does look like it was so worth it :) Again, thank you for sharing your Japan vlogs, and I hope all is well!

I would of had to walk up the mountain can't stand chair lifts or cable car's.

Oh no no no no... no chair lift for me thanks. Especially when there is nothing to like keep you safe in your seat. Nope!
Even the cable cars scare the heck out of me. That's why I was also not the biggest fan of the Disney Skyliner... those things just scare me so much... hooray for fear of heights! :-)

So funny you mention the Zelda games and game inspiration. You are gonna laugh now ... :p but I've seen so many things these past couple of vlogs that I recognize from in my Animal Crossing game. There are a lot of Japanese things in the game, like even the parking spaces... There is a character that sells mystery carpets, flooring and wallpaper... so you never know what you're gonna get when you buy something from her. And once I got a mystery flooring which was the image of a car parking :p and now I see where they got that from :p Those double white lines in between the spaces. And even the vending machines are in the game too! :) See, Japan is almost in my every day life now! I need to go! :p
This vlog though...it's almost full of all of my fears :p Heights, small dark places, creepy scary places, ... the only thing missing are 8 legged MONSTERS (also known as spiders). Please let there be no spiders in these vlogs! (I've paused now where you just said that it's not for people who are claustrophobic ... aka me. :p) Ok let's continue with the video...

So, you and I are piggies, right Natasha? And my husband, lucky him, is a dragon! He has a dragon tattoo around his arm and I loooovvveee it. It's so so pretty. That picture of that dragon reminded me of that :) so cool.
Oh that picture of the phoenix along that street and on top of the Onsen....I looooooveee phoenixes! I want a Phoenix tattoo. (can you tell we are tattoo people :p) I love the look of them and I love the story behind them. Very suitable for my life :) I will (hopefully) rise from my ashes (being the depression I am in and the health issues I've got).
On to the next one...and then I'm almost caught up(only the DisneySea one :p) and then there are still some WDW ones I think I missed... will have to check that. OK I'll stop rambling now, sorry... If my superduper long comments are annoying, please tell me and I'll try to contain myself the next time :)

Oh you’re so sweet!!! It’s a cyst, every so often it flares up, but it’s not harmful. Doctors said there’s no point removing it unless he really wants to, and surgery is a bit much so he leaves it. Thanks so much though, always good to flag stuff like this!!!

Did the public transport in Matsuyama take the IC card? Also was google maps as a amazing there as it is in Tokyo ?
Sadly not, the Iyotetsu company run the transport system in Matsuyama, and they don't take IC cards. It was the only place we visited which didn't! The Google Maps are amazing everywhere in Japan - so detailed and super helpful, just like in Tokyo! :D

Cave tunnel would have been a massive no from me. I would even take my chances with zombie hoarde than go in there.
