Thanks for posting this. I always learn something new while watching your Japan videos! We were at DisneySea on January 21 and 22 and Journey to the Center of the Earth was down a lot for us as well. We still had a great time and we can't wait to go back.

About that corridor, I've seen dancers of the parades going down that way towards the spot on that side where the boats stop. Once during Halloween I was going up that slope and they were on their way down (since they were villains at that time they were all glaring at me and my friend and our duffy and gelatoni because they were so in character, it was super funny xD)

I had a question regarding the map for Leonardo’s challenge… I saw it was embossed at the end (to show you finished successfully?). Do you get to keep the map? Or do they flatten the embossed section so they can be reused?

How would you describe the fast part at the end of journey to the center of the earth? Is it like the race part of radiator races on Anaheim? Or a drop like the end of rise of the resistance? I don't like roller coasters but I'm trying to decide if I could do journey and power through the last bit. Thanks!
I haven’t done rise of the resistance but it reminds me a lot of the drop at the end of splash mountain. It’s obviously on wheels rather than on water but it’s the same feeling as that. The thing I like about it though is the climb is fast - not scary fast - but just enough so there’s not too much of that horrible anticipation! It’s over before you have time to think!!! And it’s awesome! I hope you get to go on it - I’m not a fan of very scary rides and I love it!!’
