    That little RTS I think were built by Hertz (or commissioned to FMC) as their Airport, terminal to lot rental pickup. They had Gillig Phantom 35ft buses back in the early 2000s with a single rear (middle) door, just like that model. Prior to that, they did have RTS 35footers in JFK, but those were front and rear door models, I have photos of those, but not the single door variants (except Gilligs, that came much later)
    Thats definetely a very rare config. Not even sure it is GM based. It could be something else, that was inspired by the RTS. Daewoo built the RTS in S. Korea as well, which in turn inspired a bunch of copycats, particular in China, that from 20ft looked like an RTS but werent.
    Still, Im 99 percent that little guy you got there is a Hertz bus with a single door.
