What's the size of sump? I too have a 2ft sump for this tank and i change 70% water every 15 days

If you don't have too many fish then water change after 15 days would be fine

Very poor filtration system boss
The main motive of any filtration is maintaining low ammonia & nitrate levels. That's where biological filtration comes into play. I agree i don't have good biological filtration but i maintain low nitrate & ammonia by weekly water changes. So the main motive is fulfilled. And it's a big tank with one fish so Ammonia spikes can be controlled
