It’s a perfect ending, that’s why I think the story of the franchise should end there they should keep going backwards with the story of the gang if they keep it centred around them I don’t want them to do another sequel. While he becomes an outlaw with killing Milton(I think is his name) but you don’t canonically do any other crimes i don’t think so anyway so it’s ambiguous as to wether that’s the only thing he does in revenge for the gang. But other people have pointed out with jack asking around to find him he’ll certainly be hunted down for it regardless. Besides the book on gta shows he does become an author after all

One game that recently weirded me out with a post-credits scene was Prey. You go through the whole game fighting the aliens, making decisions that affect how the story plays out, and trying to find a way to stop them from getting to Earth, either by destroying the station or finding a way to neutralize the alien threat... Then after an admittedly abrupt ending you suddenly wake up in a simulation chamber that's apparently been created by the Typhon. Several of the characters you encountered in the game appear as artificial intelligences, and it turns out the Typhon have already spread throughout Earth, and the player is a Typhon who's been trying to learn empathy and was being tested to see if they're a suitable emissary to bring a peaceful relationship between the species they have apparently been a threat to the whole time. It's a mind-boggling twist that can leave any unsuspecting player unsure what to think. I'm kinda hoping at some point we'll get a sequel that might elaborate more on that and offer a bit more clarification.

They literally put all the head members of another company that helped them do the Indian language. wtf.

The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind. This was the first game that I ever played that continued after you completed the main story mission. It was one of those moments that blew me away. The end credits of DOOM also holds a place in my heart for the marathon of demon deaths.

The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy video game has the best end credits in any game I've ever played. As the credits rolls you get to destroy them with various weapons you can use throughout the game.
Has nobody talked about the The Warriors' mini game in the credit? In the ending, you play as the Riffs beating the sh*t out of the Rogues' gang. The mini game is kicking ass, literally.
In one of the Hitmans there is actually a easter egg - ending mission, where you lie ''dead'' and all of you enemies are attending your funeral - the ending titles just run down your screen and if I remember correctly you have to tap space to get up and you can actaully do one lat mission where you kill all of them.
This isn’t really related to the story, but the Freeplay modes of the Bloons Tower Defense games have always been total utter bloodbaths especially after the Round 200 threshold. Just search up “btd6 round 500 pink bloon”.
After completing Assassin's Creed: Revelations I literally had time to go pick a few things from the store while the unskipable credits were rolling out. I know a lot of people worked on the game, but that doesn't mean I want to look at the credits for longer than the storyline in the actual game is.
At the end of Crash Twinsanity (Strangest and probably buggiest full-release game I've ever played) It just plonks you down right at the middle of the game map, to which you can go and re-complete the entire second half of the game.
In pokemon gold and silver after you beat the elite four and you think the game is over, you're told you get to travel to kanto and you can essentially do the original game all over again, finishing by fighting the character you played as in the first game. That blew my mind as a kid.
The Mass Effect 3 end credit scene is crazy mainly because of the last sentence, "Okay, One more Story." Which means that there will be one more Mass Effect game before they turn in their hats, i.e Mass Effect Andromeda
in the hitman franchise you "die" halfway through the game and at your funeral they go as far as saying the end and just as the credits start rolling you hop out of ur casket and you just start shooting everybody and the game goes on

the ending of halo reach the lone wolf mission when i first played it i thought it was super sad maybe not to a cod player that plays zombies all the time but after hours and hours of fighting off the covenant on legendary you fight them more and more just to get kill by a energy sword but you go out as a bad ass to see your helmet laying on the ground as Dr. Halsey talks was just amazing

One crazy thing that happened after the game was black ops 2. After the credits there’s an avenged sevenfold concert. If you look close enough there’s an Easter egg. It’s a zombie above the band on some Metal walkway.

MDK2 should have been mentioned here because to this day it remains the most hilarious after credits 'easter egg' ever. If you completed the game at least once (you can watch the credits directly from the start menu without finishing the game), the credits will end with Kurt and Doctor Hawkins keep reconfirming that the game was over, and you (the player) got cheated out of your $60 for it.
The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy video game has the best end credits in any game I've ever played. As the credits rolls you get to destroy them with various weapons you can use throughout the game.

Has nobody talked about the The Warriors' mini game in the credit? In the ending, you play as the Riffs beating the sh*t out of the Rogues' gang. The mini game is kicking ass, literally.
In one of the Hitmans there is actually a easter egg - ending mission, where you lie ''dead'' and all of you enemies are attending your funeral - the ending titles just run down your screen and if I remember correctly you have to tap space to get up and you can actaully do one lat mission where you kill all of them.

This isn’t really related to the story, but the Freeplay modes of the Bloons Tower Defense games have always been total utter bloodbaths especially after the Round 200 threshold. Just search up “btd6 round 500 pink bloon”.

At the end of Crash Twinsanity (Strangest and probably buggiest full-release game I've ever played) It just plonks you down right at the middle of the game map, to which you can go and re-complete the entire second half of the game.
In pokemon gold and silver after you beat the elite four and you think the game is over, you're told you get to travel to kanto and you can essentially do the original game all over again, finishing by fighting the character you played as in the first game. That blew my mind as a kid.

The Mass Effect 3 end credit scene is crazy mainly because of the last sentence, "Okay, One more Story." Which means that there will be one more Mass Effect game before they turn in their hats, i.e Mass Effect Andromeda
in the hitman franchise you "die" halfway through the game and at your funeral they go as far as saying the end and just as the credits start rolling you hop out of ur casket and you just start shooting everybody and the game goes on

Hitman: Blood Money had an excellent post-ending sequence. Don't want to spoil it but I was a little sad to see it never made this list because it was totally awesome!
the ending of halo reach the lone wolf mission when i first played it i thought it was super sad maybe not to a cod player that plays zombies all the time but after hours and hours of fighting off the covenant on legendary you fight them more and more just to get kill by a energy sword but you go out as a bad ass to see your helmet laying on the ground as Dr. Halsey talks was just amazing
