He'll get flustered and repeat his speech, and you're given the dialog option again. Pick the Queen Brahne option a total of 64 times and then Ruby will barge into the room and insult you. And that's it.
I actually remembered how I did it. I LOVED Link to the past... still do... but I was bored. I made a play through where I was going to go back to my uncle in the castle after every major accomplishment to "Tell him" what was happening in the world. So I got the shoes and "Ran back to my uncle" as fast as I could. I ran to the secret entrance to get to him faster, and BOOM A room full of gems. This was before the internet :p So I can't prove it.
Yeah I agree, it's very lazy reporting just to fill out a list. Missing No. wasn't an intended feature and Hot Coffee was something that had to be modded back into the game inorder to actually function.
Kinda sad not alot of people talk about the Rogue Squadron easter egg that allowed you to fly a naboo starfighter. The reason why it's so cool is that the game was released before episode 1 came out. No one knew about this until Lucas Arts posted the code to unlock the starfighter, and it took people a bit of time to realize they had access to content related to the unreleased movie early.

I would not call missingno or hot coffee "easter eggs". An easter egg is intentionally left in for players to find, while missingno is a glitch and hot coffee is a cancelled level only accessible through modding.
You can access hot coffee from just opening up game files on a pc.. no modding required. He also stated that MissingNo is a glitch. Albeit an interesting one.

um, no, Missingno is a glitch produced by a memory error which is why the effects of having Missingno is very versatile. The name itself may be a debug failsafe, but that's it, the rest of it is a memory glitch.
My favorite easter egg is in Portal 2 there is a specific level in the game to where you have to fire lasers at a turret inside of a vent when you do that it will explode and the vent will fly out, you then have to crouch and go into the room revealing an opera of turrets it's actually pretty fun to do and cool :D

Well, it may be the exact opposite thing, but I found it amusing when From Software made everyone believe that a useless item would do something special later on.
Things like the Drake Sword and the Entrance to The Great Hollow are also pretty well hidden. I mean you gotta admit NOBODY would've thought to hit a hidden wall, open the treasure chest behind it, and then instead of saying "oh, well that must've been the reward for the wall. I'll go back now" they go BEHIND the chest which has only a tiny little space to sneak in behind, and hit ANOTHER illusion wall to open the Great Hollow! And it's obvious that SOMEONE leaked the fact that you could shoot the Hellkite drake's tail to get the sword, as pretty much EVERYONE was avoiding that thing like the plague when it came out; but somehow it was already known about the drake sword within like a couple weeks of the original Japanese release.
@TheScaleless In regards to Drake sword, if you didn't know about it but wanted the souls early on, a good strategy would be to use Bow and arrow to shoot it from under the bridge, and whats the most exposed part with out clearing out the enemies? simple, the tail. Another way is someone finding the Dragon Ax from Gargoyles or Gaping's wep (forget what is is right now) from their tail and figured they might as well try it on Drake. The Hollow can be accidentally found with a vertical slash/thrust directly on top of the chest with a Great sword, Ult Great, or thrusting weps that have an exceedingly long light attack, as I found with zwihander. Both could have been stumbled upon relatively early on.

The credits in Sinistar belongs on this list. Sinistar, as most people reading this probably know, came out in 1982, and they put two easter eggs in the game, one of them being the programmers' credits in a crossword configuration. In 1995 there was an arcade compliation released for several consoles of the time, and in the PS1 and Saturn versions, you can read the history of each game and watch interview clips from developers. R.J. Michal talked about Sinistar, and he mentioned the easter egg, but couldn't tell how it was done beyond the fact that three quarters had to be inserted during gameplay. What he does say is that Noah Falstein, who was in charge of the project, was nervous about how much trouble they might get in for putting that into the game, and so Noah put together a super complicated series of commands to get it to pop up that R.J. said he couldn't remember. and he further guaranteed that no one would ever find it. Somebody did find it eventually, and videos now exist on RUclips showing how to get it to pop up, but it took more than 25 years after the game's release before the order of commands was figured out. R.J. Michal was right, by the way, that it is a very complex series, and I often wonder how much time the guy who figured it out had on his hands to try everything he no doubt tried before he got it.
i expected to see the easter egg from dragon age inquisition where you need to travel to a castle ( dont remember the name) and when as soon as you spawn, you must go running to certain point of the map that takes a little bit of time to load, and then you fall down of the map and you can see a big pumpkin with a hat. When a video of that easter egg was posted on youtube, a developer of dragon age commented below that it wasnt supposed to be found by anyone. the secret quest was told that existen and so all the players gattered the clues left by the develolers and they finally find how to activate the quest. the pumpkin of the easter egg was not meant to be found from the start, it should be in the place of the hidden quest one

because video games are new and people have trouble as seeing them as more than a kids toy. to clarify on this theatre and tv have been a big wide public thing for longer than games have and plus kids love games and parents are too shit lazy to parent so they let games babysit their kids. thats why they get mad at stuff like this.
The only reason for that is the interactivity. You can technically have sexually explicit content in a game as long as 1) It's not interactive and 2) It doesn't directly show off any genital parts of the body. Look at Witcher games, they have sexual scenes but they key is that they respect those above mentioned rules. If your game has an interactive sex mini-game then it's classified as Adults Only.
Missing no is a fail-safe not a bug, it is possible because when you learn to catch a Pokemon from the old man your name is stored on the coast of cinnabar island just like the last route you are on usually is and when no Pokemon are found to appear the failsafe missingno shows up
Thought it was a bug in the limiting code/system. The system can only deal with numbers up to 255, can't go higher then that, it's impossible. But that series of events, makes the 'numbers' go higher, breaking the game. That's why just having the 'pokemon' breaks your game. It's 'code' corrupts the code of the game and the limit of the system.
It does NOT break your game, missingno is basically a pokemon that shouldn't exist... but does due to the game loading your name as a pokemon. However, it fails to do so and loads whatever it can, which happens to evolve into kangaskhan.

My favorite easter egg of all time was something dumb from World of Warcraft. Outside the original Karazhan raid, there was a secret corner that you could clip through that would allow you to go underneath the building that contains the gate to the raid. There used to be (don't know it they got rid of it) a smiley face on the ground, and it was a convenient way to enter the raid without having to do the questline to get the key. I guess it just sticks out to me because they do that kind of thing so rarely.
The Eltonbrand Easter egg from Morrowind is one of my favorites for how well hidden it is. It's hidden so well in fact that most players had to find out about it from a walkthrough or fan site.

I've always personally been a fan of the Developer Chests in the original Borderlands. You gotta literally drive your vehicle over a ledge, when you've played enough hours in the game by this time to KNOW that driving off a ledge will ALWAYS kill you meaning there's NO reason to do it in the first place. THEN after going off the ledge, you, park it on a PRECISE spot (not too far or you slide off and die) , then get OUT of the vehicle instead of just reloading figuring you're dead anyway; then drop down on another PRECISE area (or else you die. has to be one specific spot you drop down on. Keep in mind this is OFF the map here!) then QUICKLY duck into a little cove before the "out of bounds" lasers kill you; and find a high level weapons chest/cache with far higher level gear than you could ever get at this point of the game and much higher rarity chances. Then after you get the stuff you have to reload the game in order to keep it and survive. I mean who the fuck figured this out lol..... Oh and there's the 2nd one in the last level too. That one is a bit less insane to find as it's just going off the map on a ledge that you can jump to fairly easily; but the 1st one is just crazy.
Yeah. I can see it now. Ash glitches out the real world, and gets a missing no to appear. He reaches out to touch the pokemon, that is making horrific screeching noises, because of the immense pain that his existence is causing. As soon as ash touches missing no, his backpack explodes as rare candies multiply by the millions. Knocked over from the sheer force from the explosion, Ash picks himself up... But doesn't move. Misty gets concerned, and rushes to see if he's okay. Ash turns around to reveal... He has no face. At that moment a pixelated vortex opens in the ground, and swallows everything. The screen cuts to black, roll credits. tl;dr: it's a game breaking glitch. No. They wouldn't every acknowledge it in the anime. Because it's not cannon. It doesn't exist. The name missing no literally means missing number.
They kind of knew Missingno. and kind of didn't. The process that makes Missingno. appear wasn't an accident, it was just one of their many shortcuts due to hardware limitations(by having the OLD MAN show you how to catch Pokemon, the game temporarily stores your name at the specific tiles at Cinnabar). However, they never expected that to trigger Missingno. from spawning. There's actually a similar glitch that can have you encounter Safari Pokemon instead of Missingno.
The game doesn't **exactly** store the player's name "at the Cinnabar tiles". It stores it in the area that dictates the Pokémon that can be found wild in the current area, whatever that may be. It's just that the Cinnabar coast is the only place in the game that meets three criteria: it's flagged for the possibility of encounters (so wild Pokémon *can* appear), it doesn't have any of its own defined (so the game doesn't overwrite that bit of memory on entering, instead retaining whatever was there before), and it's reachable by Fly or similar without passing through an area that *does* have wild Pokémon defined (so, again, the area of memory doesn't get overwritten). That's why it works for Safari Zone Pokémon too: the encounters for the area in the Safari Zone from which one triggers the glitch (whichever one one chooses) aren't overwritten upon Flying to Cinnabar. All this **does** mean, however, that a carefully-chosen Trainer name is one of the few ways to obtain Mew sans Gameshark (though it's not strictly "legit" and it results in being stuck with a ridiculous name) in gens I and II.

The Sims are Easter egg central. The Sims 3 famous ones: a book you can buy called “Where’s Bella?” The Freezer Bunny Magical Gnome, fortune cookie “help I’m trapped in a game development studio”, the creepy eyes in the mine shaft” (just a few)
What about Goldeneye 64? Years after the game came out, the developers revealed that there were complicated button codes to unlock the cheats, which everyone assumed could only be obtained by beating the challenge times on each level. Also the button codes to unlock a ton of extra characters on multiplayer, which was unknown until long after the release of the game. That belongs on this list
Sergio Jimenez It is a failsafe that was purposely put there by the developers to stop the game from crashing when the game cant find a pokemon to battle, this happens on cinnabar island after talking to the old man because that is where your name is temporarily stored until you go onto a route because that is where the route/location is written to and because your name isnt a location it causes the game to panic and you get missing no. as the result.
One of the best kept secrets is from the N64 game Star Wars: Rogue Squadron and the Naboo Starfighter ship. It was so secret that only a very select few developers knew about it and a type of scrambling system helped prevent hackers from finding it. Once The Phantom Menace was released, the developers made the secret public.
Extra info on missingno: 1. Your 6th inventory item is multiplied by around 1000. 2. You'll find enemies over lvl 100 in that area. 3. You can catch Wartortle at lvl 167 in that area, and using your hundreds of rare candies that you get from missingno, you can use those rare candies on him, evolve him to blastoise, and keep going until lvl 257. 256 was a special number in Pokemon, as it's the 1/256 chance to miss an attack in a 100% accuracy attack. Once you hit 257, it restarts as 00, 0, 1, then 2. IF YOU FIGHT BEFORE LVL 2, YOU WILL GO BACK TO LVL 100. IF YOU WANT A PERCECT STAT POKEMON, GO TO LVL 2 FIRST. YOU CAN ALSO CATCH ABRA AT THAT LEVEL. IF YOU CAN EVOVE THROUGH TRADE, YOU CAN ACHEIVE 400+ SPEED, AND 400+ SPECIAL ATTACK ON ALAKAZAM BY TRAINING PROPERLY AND APPLYING THE CORRECT VITAMINS DURING TRAINING, HAVING ONE OF THE HARDEST HITTING POKEMOM PRIOR TO RUBY AND SAPPHIRE. I love how you didn't get the full story behind the south park episode "easter egg". It was put there because the person didn't know how to properly make a dummy file, so they renamed the episode with the DAT extension to act as a dummy file, and this was only discoverable if you put the disc in a PC. They just picked a random file that was at hand, and it happened to be the pilot episode of south park.
Alright, I got an Easter egg for you. In the game Jak 3, you have four special abilities, but we only need two to do this: the wings ability and the shield ability. if you use those powers back and forth at the right timing, Jak would be able to fly infinitely. If you go to Daxter's bar in Haven City and use the flying glitch to get on top of the building, you will see a metal box. Jump on it, and Jak will faze through it. What makes this so special is that if you go into first person mode, you will see a picture of the developers who worked on this game. This Easter egg isnt anything new, but when I found it without knowing about it at all, it was the most memorable part of the whole game.
Im 3 years late, but one of my favorites was in Halo Reach on the mission Exidos there used to be a poster with the logo of Destiny on it. It was in very beggining of that level and you had to wonder thru all the rooms to find. It was eventually removed and patched, but it was really cool & sucks the Devs removed it.

The first one about the south park episode is actually an oversight where they used the specific file type that the south park video had (which is why it is called dummy), a full length episode was used and wasn't removed due to likely being bad at developing the game, since they likely only needed a 1 second file to serve the use.
Well recently an easter egg was discovered on GTA 5 that was well hidden and required a strict routine to follow and Borderlands 2...the number of easter eggs and secrets is ridiculous.

Missingno: is a deleted Pokemon, they didn't want to completely go back and re write the code, also professor oak was supposed to be the last boss, Pokemon at level 100, which was also taken out. People say kangenkhan was 2 Pokemon, but made the baby and mother into one, the baby originally being Cubone before gaining his mother's skull.

The unused code in Mario 3 that gives you infinite Racoon Ears, and the Glitch in Mario 2 that lets you open a black door that takes you to the end of the level and the Original Mario that takes you to a pipe in the second level which in turn takes you to level -0. All three are very real, I've done all three numerous times.
LucasArts was known to insert references to Sam and Max in their games. The Force Unleashed 2 also contains a reference to Guybrush Threepwood on the Cato Nemoidia level.

Maybe I'm remembering it wrong, but I thought the Chris Houlihan secret room was found normally (without needing to glitch)like the many other hidden rooms in the original SNES game. That it was only in all the future re-releases(like the game boy version) that it's entrance was removed from the game, but could still be reached thanks to the glitch mentioned here.

In regards to Missingno; you don't actually have to talk to the guy that teaches how to catch Pokemon and then fly to Cinnibar Island. Missingno is always along the eastern edge and very, very rarely can also be encountered along the edges of any water way. For what ever reason it's just more common at Cinnibar.
The Super Metroid GT Code was found some 15+ years after the release of Super Metroid. It involves holding a specific button combination as you enter a certain room in the game.
Getting Over It easter eggs are just brutal... 1st one is the golden cauldron, ya gotta beat the game 50 times (the normal cauldron gets golder and golder till its pure gold) 2nd one is the sexy hiking character, ya gotta very gently push up on the radio tower and then push down when you hit the closest meteorite. Then carefully go down an ice hill, its on a flying platform, just above the flying ice spheres. 3rd one is probably the most brutal. You have to get completely stuck on the bottom of the tower (somehow get your hammer on the other side of the tower and then go all the way down)
The tiger woods one has a reason: the developer didn’t know how to make a proper dummy file so he just used a South Park copy he had on hand and renamed the extension

My favorite easter egg is in Portal 2 there is a specific level in the game to where you have to fire lasers at a turret inside of a vent when you do that it will explode and the vent will fly out, you then have to crouch and go into the room revealing an opera of turrets it's actually pretty fun to do and cool :D

Things like the Drake Sword and the Entrance to The Great Hollow are also pretty well hidden. I mean you gotta admit NOBODY would've thought to hit a hidden wall, open the treasure chest behind it, and then instead of saying "oh, well that must've been the reward for the wall. I'll go back now" they go BEHIND the chest which has only a tiny little space to sneak in behind, and hit ANOTHER illusion wall to open the Great Hollow! And it's obvious that SOMEONE leaked the fact that you could shoot the Hellkite drake's tail to get the sword, as pretty much EVERYONE was avoiding that thing like the plague when it came out; but somehow it was already known about the drake sword within like a couple weeks of the original Japanese release.
@TheScaleless In regards to Drake sword, if you didn't know about it but wanted the souls early on, a good strategy would be to use Bow and arrow to shoot it from under the bridge, and whats the most exposed part with out clearing out the enemies? simple, the tail. Another way is someone finding the Dragon Ax from Gargoyles or Gaping's wep (forget what is is right now) from their tail and figured they might as well try it on Drake. The Hollow can be accidentally found with a vertical slash/thrust directly on top of the chest with a Great sword, Ult Great, or thrusting weps that have an exceedingly long light attack, as I found with zwihander. Both could have been stumbled upon relatively early on.

The credits in Sinistar belongs on this list. Sinistar, as most people reading this probably know, came out in 1982, and they put two easter eggs in the game, one of them being the programmers' credits in a crossword configuration. In 1995 there was an arcade compliation released for several consoles of the time, and in the PS1 and Saturn versions, you can read the history of each game and watch interview clips from developers. R.J. Michal talked about Sinistar, and he mentioned the easter egg, but couldn't tell how it was done beyond the fact that three quarters had to be inserted during gameplay. What he does say is that Noah Falstein, who was in charge of the project, was nervous about how much trouble they might get in for putting that into the game, and so Noah put together a super complicated series of commands to get it to pop up that R.J. said he couldn't remember. and he further guaranteed that no one would ever find it. i expected to see the easter egg from dragon age inquisition where you need to travel to a castle ( dont remember the name) and when as soon as you spawn, you must go running to certain point of the map that takes a little bit of time to load, and then you fall down of the map and you can see a big pumpkin with a hat.
When a video of that easter egg was posted on youtube, a developer of dragon age commented below that it wasnt supposed to be found by anyone.
the secret quest was told that existen and so all the players gattered the clues left by the develolers and they finally find how to activate the quest.

The only reason for that is the interactivity. You can technically have sexually explicit content in a game as long as 1) It's not interactive and 2) It doesn't directly show off any genital parts of the body. Look at Witcher games, they have sexual scenes but they key is that they respect those above mentioned rules. If your game has an interactive sex mini-game then it's classified as Adults Only.

Missing no is a fail-safe not a bug, it is possible because when you learn to catch a Pokemon from the old man your name is stored on the coast of cinnabar island just like the last route you are on usually is and when no Pokemon are found to appear the failsafe missingno shows up
Your name is changed to "Old Man" as well.
Thought it was a bug in the limiting code/system. The system can only deal with numbers up to 255, can't go higher then that, it's impossible. But that series of events, makes the 'numbers' go higher, breaking the game. That's why just having the 'pokemon' breaks your game. It's 'code' corrupts the code of the game and the limit of the system.
It does NOT break your game, missingno is basically a pokemon that shouldn't exist... but does due to the game loading your name as a pokemon. However, it fails to do so and loads whatever it can, which happens to evolve into kangaskhan.

My favorite easter egg of all time was something dumb from World of Warcraft. Outside the original Karazhan raid, there was a secret corner that you could clip through that would allow you to go underneath the building that contains the gate to the raid. There used to be (don't know it they got rid of it) a smiley face on the ground, and it was a convenient way to enter the raid without having to do the questline to get the key. I guess it just sticks out to me because they do that kind of thing so rarely.

I've always personally been a fan of the Developer Chests in the original Borderlands. You gotta literally drive your vehicle over a ledge, when you've played enough hours in the game by this time to KNOW that driving off a ledge will ALWAYS kill you meaning there's NO reason to do it in the first place. THEN after going off the ledge, you, park it on a PRECISE spot (not too far or you slide off and die) , then get OUT of the vehicle instead of just reloading figuring you're dead anyway; then drop down on another PRECISE area (or else you die. has to be one specific spot you drop down on. Keep in mind this is OFF the map here!) then QUICKLY duck into a little cove before the "out of bounds" lasers kill you; and find a high level weapons chest/cache with far higher level gear than you could ever get at this point of the game and much higher rarity chances. Then after you get the stuff you have to reload the game in order to keep it and survive. I mean who the fuck figured this out lol..... Oh and there's the 2nd one in the last level too. That one is a bit less insane to find as it's just going off the map on a ledge that you can jump to fairly easily; but the 1st one is just crazy.

He reaches out to touch the pokemon, that is making horrific screeching noises, because of the immense pain that his existence is causing. As soon as ash touches missing no, his backpack explodes as rare candies multiply by the millions. Knocked over from the sheer force from the explosion, Ash picks himself up... But doesn't move. Misty gets concerned, and rushes to see if he's okay. Ash turns around to reveal... He has no face. At that moment a pixelated vortex opens in the ground, and swallows everything. The screen cuts to black, roll credits.
tl;dr: it's a game breaking glitch. No. They wouldn't every acknowledge it in the anime. Because it's not cannon. It doesn't exist. The name missing no literally means missing number.

They kind of knew Missingno. and kind of didn't. The process that makes Missingno. appear wasn't an accident, it was just one of their many shortcuts due to hardware limitations(by having the OLD MAN show you how to catch Pokemon, the game temporarily stores your name at the specific tiles at Cinnabar). However, they never expected that to trigger Missingno. from spawning. There's actually a similar glitch that can have you encounter Safari Pokemon instead of Missingno.

The game doesn't **exactly** store the player's name "at the Cinnabar tiles". It stores it in the area that dictates the Pokémon that can be found wild in the current area, whatever that may be. It's just that the Cinnabar coast is the only place in the game that meets three criteria: it's flagged for the possibility of encounters (so wild Pokémon *can* appear), it doesn't have any of its own defined (so the game doesn't overwrite that bit of memory on entering, instead retaining whatever was there before), and it's reachable by Fly or similar without passing through an area that *does* have wild Pokémon defined (so, again, the area of memory doesn't get overwritten).
That's why it works for Safari Zone Pokémon too: the encounters for the area in the Safari Zone from which one triggers the glitch (whichever one one chooses) aren't overwritten upon Flying to Cinnabar.
All this **does** mean, however, that a carefully-chosen Trainer name is one of the few ways to obtain Mew sans Gameshark (though it's not strictly "legit" and it results in being stuck with a ridiculous name) in gens I and II.

It is a failsafe that was purposely put there by the developers to stop the game from crashing when the game cant find a pokemon to battle, this happens on cinnabar island after talking to the old man because that is where your name is temporarily stored until you go onto a route because that is where the route/location is written to and because your name isnt a location it causes the game to panic and you get missing no. as the result.
One of the best kept secrets is from the N64 game Star Wars: Rogue Squadron and the Naboo Starfighter ship. It was so secret that only a very select few developers knew about it and a type of scrambling system helped prevent hackers from finding it. Once The Phantom Menace was released, the developers made the secret public.
Extra info on missingno:
1. Your 6th inventory item is multiplied by around 1000.
2. You'll find enemies over lvl 100 in that area.
3. You can catch Wartortle at lvl 167 in that area, and using your hundreds of rare candies that you get from missingno, you can use those rare candies on him, evolve him to blastoise, and keep going until lvl 257. 256 was a special number in Pokemon, as it's the 1/256 chance to miss an attack in a 100% accuracy attack.
Once you hit 257, it restarts as 00, 0, 1, then 2. IF YOU FIGHT BEFORE LVL 2, YOU WILL GO BACK TO LVL 100. IF YOU WANT A PERCECT STAT POKEMON, GO TO LVL 2 FIRST. YOU CAN ALSO CATCH ABRA AT THAT LEVEL. IF YOU CAN EVOVE THROUGH TRADE, YOU CAN ACHEIVE 400+ SPEED, AND 400+ SPECIAL ATTACK ON ALAKAZAM BY TRAINING PROPERLY AND APPLYING THE CORRECT VITAMINS DURING TRAINING, HAVING ONE OF THE HARDEST HITTING POKEMOM PRIOR TO RUBY AND SAPPHIRE.

I love how you didn't get the full story behind the south park episode "easter egg". It was put there because the person didn't know how to properly make a dummy file, so they renamed the episode with the DAT extension to act as a dummy file, and this was only discoverable if you put the disc in a PC. They just picked a random file that was at hand, and it happened to be the pilot episode of south park.

Alright, I got an Easter egg for you. In the game Jak 3, you have four special abilities, but we only need two to do this: the wings ability and the shield ability. if you use those powers back and forth at the right timing, Jak would be able to fly infinitely. If you go to Daxter's bar in Haven City and use the flying glitch to get on top of the building, you will see a metal box. Jump on it, and Jak will faze through it. What makes this so special is that if you go into first person mode, you will see a picture of the developers who worked on this game. This Easter egg isnt anything new, but when I found it without knowing about it at all, it was the most memorable part of the whole game.
Im 3 years late, but one of my favorites was in Halo Reach on the mission Exidos there used to be a poster with the logo of Destiny on it. It was in very beggining of that level and you had to wonder thru all the rooms to find. It was eventually removed and patched, but it was really cool & sucks the Devs removed it.

The first one about the south park episode is actually an oversight where they used the specific file type that the south park video had (which is why it is called dummy), a full length episode was used and wasn't removed due to likely being bad at developing the game, since they likely only needed a 1 second file to serve the use.

Maybe I'm remembering it wrong, but I thought the Chris Houlihan secret room was found normally (without needing to glitch)like the many other hidden rooms in the original SNES game. That it was only in all the future re-releases(like the game boy version) that it's entrance was removed from the game, but could still be reached thanks to the glitch mentioned here.

Well since you already have two entries where the developers told everyone about the secrets and EEs on this list of secrets and EEs they told no one about, you may as well create a video of secrets and EEs the developers had to clue people in on since the consumers couldn't discover them themselves. For example, _Batman: Arkham Asylum_'s hidden room.
In regards to Missingno; you don't actually have to talk to the guy that teaches how to catch Pokemon and then fly to Cinnibar Island. Missingno is always along the eastern edge and very, very rarely can also be encountered along the edges of any water way. For what ever reason it's just more common at Cinnibar.

Getting Over It easter eggs are just brutal...
1st one is the golden cauldron, ya gotta beat the game 50 times (the normal cauldron gets golder and golder till its pure gold)
2nd one is the sexy hiking character, ya gotta very gently push up on the radio tower and then push down when you hit the closest meteorite. Then carefully go down an ice hill, its on a flying platform, just above the flying ice spheres.
3rd one is probably the most brutal. You have to get completely stuck on the bottom of the tower (somehow get your hammer on the other side of the tower and then go all the way down)
The tiger woods one has a reason: the developer didn’t know how to make a proper dummy file so he just used a South Park copy he had on hand and renamed the extension
