Venom's whole mechanic is something never before seen in ANY other video game period (up until DBFZ Beerus but he isn't even close imo) and his absence from this list is unforgiveable.

I feel like Rev Jack-O is far easier to appreciate as a gameplay design once the game is no longer in the competitive spotlight lol
I was going to wax poetic about the sound minds of +R players but that Bedman pick started an unfortunate wave. I do think it was great to bring up the Marvel-ness of the character to highlight all Arc did to try and bring in new audiences taking more mechanics/archetypes from popular games for newer characters.
To me no Venom is wild. IMO the best unique gameplay design GG has ever created and one of the best in all of fighting games.
These all have been wonderfully painful. Please do more!
Happy Chaos was ASW learning *nothing* from Elphelt in R2. And then deciding to DOUBLE DOWN THE CONCEPT in a game with HALF THE MOBILITY OF IT. That convered me to a non-player for years, too.
I truly can't stand Happy Chaos and what he did to Strive. It's to the point where I very rarely watch anything related to competitive Strive because if I see that thing onscreen, I want to claw my eyes out. Lol
Zoner meta has now been retooled and I rarely see him anymore. Now, Jack-O and Asuka R? They're the new top-tiers and fairly entertaining there.
Venom not on the list is the most criminal shit I've ever seen in my life. And every other version of Sol is better than strive. Holy shit.
I get that not everyone is a waifu picker, but the lack of female characters in ALL of these lists is fucking stupid. Glad I-NO made top 5 at least.
Somehow the most civil of all these tier lists.

The Testament pick was the best one in this list.
I'm not saying Anji belongs on this list, but I am saying the fact that he doesn't belong makes me weep.
I feel like GG is similar to Street Fighter where you can look at characters from the first games and them being so iconic they would have to be on this list. BUT!!! Since GG is a game based on hate, some of these characters have no place here lmao.

No Millia? the one fighting game character that fights with her hair as her whole gimmick and kinda defines mix/vortex character?
Cant believe Gonzo mentioned Giovanna...waste of space, but overall, the better list from the other episodes.

So much wrong. Two versions of Sol is just incorrect. I think you could argue no Sol at all. Kliff is absurd, Bedman is absurd and Chipp is absurd. Slayer Venom Baiken Faust not being there is crazy. Also get Leo out of there lol
I feel like having both jam and hos is redundant personally. Their game plans are very similar. Leo and chipp don’t feel unique enough to be on here either. Characters that I definitely believe should be on here are rev2 Faust, ac(?) venom, answer, +r Bridget, asuka, and just because it’s funny ac Potemkin.
I think you should only veto after the person explains why the character should be on the list but that might get rid of some salt moments.
