- A superb strike from James McAtee in first-half stoppage-time was the only goal of the game, as Sheffield United beat Brentford 1-0 at Bramall Lane.
The Bees, who are struggling with a raft of injuries, struggled to carve out any real chances, with a volley from Yoane Wissa the only effort that really tested opposition keeper Wes Foderingham.
There were appeals from the Bees for a penalty in the 95th minute, but the referee waved away their handball claims before blowing for full time.

when the club coaches read this: If we insist on 4-3-3 with unequipped midfielders(baptiste and onyeka) we have no steam up front!... we NEED to put Saman on the left of the front three.. klp in the middle and wissa right side (he needs to do a job).. neal needs to be benched at the moment.. goal hangs and doesn't offer enough movement and link up play up top (just lurks around near the goal looking for tap ins; not team centric)... need more versatility which saman can offer... mads (who I do not rate) could have filled in at the back or surely Zhanka... furthermore Wissa really needs to get his act together he needs to be working much better he has lost his aggressiveness. I would actually have gone with a 4-4-1-1 (KLP as the 10) we are now playing messy and "hoof ball" like periods of our first PL season!!! NOT the way.. Sheffield Utd is a trash team and we should be dealing with this team even with 100 injuries. wake up team and coaching staff.
This comment is valid. IDK why Brentford are putting Ghodos in a defensive position. I think Yarmolyuk should also start, he’s been pretty decent in the past 3 matches, hopefully Jensen will be back to fill that position. I agree that Wissa has been less aggressive, but I thought he was decent in his games, also, yes, Maupay must be benched.
Also I think Frank should explore starting Strakosha, Flekken has made some massive mistakes and Strakosha has been promising.

No luck about it. Sheffield United have actually got some decent players but they were setup all wrong. From what I can see Wilder has come in and rearranged them to a 3-5-2 which suits the team they have. He also brings passion as a fan of their club too. I honestly believe they could stay up with a good January.
