Really loving your videos lately. I get a lot more out of watching you explore 251’s than I do from just watching people explain different licks. Exploration is far more important than copy and pasting licks. I’m already seeing some really interesting developments in my playing thanks to this video. Thanks, Noah!
I like the arpeggio (1235, 1235) you used on the minor i (ex. GABDGABD over the minor C). It makes an interesting pattern if you extend to the ii/v. In C min it'd be C1235 over D dim, Eb1235 over G, and G1235 over C min. C, Eb, G...the minor triad. Or C over D dim, Eb over G7, and G over Cmin
F-maj11/D would work. However I do prefer D-11b5b13. You could also see it as a Bb13#11/D. However, if you’re only playing the upper structure because there is a bassist then simply F-maj11 is a great name!
Great fun nerdin out on your videos awesome cheers buddy😊
Super satisfying opener! Love the grace note into an octave at the end of a run
Thanks Amara appreciate that man!
Love the sounds, and love the concepts. Really top-notch instruction!
Yes, it does present several possibilities that expand the sonority, the term "Killer" fits perfectly, thank you for sharing your secrets

A great video! In this modern voice in 7 minutes, I usually understand the SUS chord of Tritone. Can I understand it like this?
i'd call it Fmin Maj7/D and that move G Altered into Cminmaj13 kinda like 451 function as well
