    Noah, I studied piano 🎹 Jazz and Blues with a master for 5 years, and now I take sing lesson with a female master, but I love jazz and every day, play my piano 🎹, cause I'm gonna became a master of jazz 😊. Thank you so much for this beautiful video, I Will learn by You! 💖

    Hi there!! On the first pattern, how would you explain the theory behind the quartal voicing you’re using. In other words, what would I name the chord. It appears to have an 11 and a b7. So, is this a dominant sound?

    It seems that if one doesn't practice with a metronome the first few times that, the cadence can become all messed up. It winds up sounding amateurish. From now on, I'm definitely doing this with a metronome.

      @@NoahKellman any chord... We use it in Brazil just to mention any chord Xm , X7, Xsus... when we speak generally.

      @@ChristianneNeves I see. My opinion is that patterns work great over almost anything. These can work over major as well, you could just start them in a place where they begin diatonically to that major chord so there is some rooted sound tonally speaking.

    Pat 1 sounds better w/ 7-13 voicing (F13 = Eb-A-D) in LH.
