That beginning speech riding the boat to stalingrad, I can recite it word for word. Games that I havent played for years and can still remember full dialog sequences, thats when a game leaves something in you. Games now days just dont have the same feeling.
Well... Just nostalgia mate, i love it too, but it doesn't stand a single chance against the original COD1 on PC, just to make a fair comparison... In fact it's one of the weakest entry in the high profile COD games
this is the best call of duty game of all call of duty games because from the storyline, the effects of weapons or explosions and the sound track is very good. if only this game got remasted i would buy it right away.
i feel like that the ps2 and ps3 first person shooters were way better from cod finest hour to cod ghost and from medal of honor frontline to airborne, miss those times

I tried this on dolphin emulator and honestly it looks WAYYYY better on PCSX2. Probably plays better with a PS2 controller over GameCube as well. I'm looking forward to trying this.
You guys know you can pick up Sgt Oleg Puskov PPSH41 I get upset when I cant find a video of someone using it to mow down Germans, but this video was good especially during charge scene, I really wish you would have picked up that PPSH would have made my day I wanna see it.

PC version? Call of Duty Finest Hour was a console exclusive (GameCube, Xbox and PS2). It is a spinoff and not related to the original PC release of Call of Duty in 2003. Is that what you mean? I highly recommend Finest Hour. I originally had it on Xbox and it complements the PC version very well since it's not the same game at all. Every level is different. My favorite is probably the Sherman tank level for the Americans where you are put into the boots of a 761st tank sergeant (Sam Rivers). It's really neat, because the 761st were an African-American battalion and it's nice to see them represented in a game. It also introduces the grease gun and there are segments of the level where you have to get out of the tank and fight on the ground, before getting back in. The Soviet campaign has a few of these levels as well where you get out of the tank, but I never thought they were as well done as the American campaign.

I just never knew before that the PS2 version was different as I only played PC back in early 2000s. A few months ago I purchased a slim PS2 and now trying to get the most popular games for it for the time. I might also get the original Xbox and see if the graphics will be slightly better on COD.
When I first got this game the hardest missions were the soviet tank stuck sniper mission, British blowing up the oil and that castle thing in the desert and the last four missions of the US troops going into Germany. All of them were a giant pain in the ass.
