EZ Flash Junior - Updating firmware to 1.05 BETA. Step-by-step guide!

Step-by-step guide:
1. Download the 1.05 BETA firmware here. As of 2024-07-05 this is the latest official firmware available.

2. Use a fast MicroSD - ideally a one which you already use with your Junior card and you know that it is working fine. If you need to use a new card make sure to format it with FAT32 file system 32 cluster size.
3. Unzip the archive from the first link to the root directory of the microSD. You should have two files there: ezgb.dat and Update_FW5_2021-9-18.gb
4. Insert the MicroSD to your EZ Flash Junior flashcard, insert the flashcard to your GB and launch it.
5. Verify in the settings menu with the SELECT button, that the sd firmware file is K1.05E. Switch to the directory listing with the SELECT button.
5. Navigate with your d-pad to "Update_FW5_2021-9-18.gb" and launch it.
6. Press A to proceed with the update and wait until the operation completes.
7. Shutdown when done and relaunch it. Avoid quick power cycles.
8. Verify in the settings menu with the SELECT button, that the card firmware is updated to 5.
