Don't get a tattoo based on the pain. Don't get a small tattoo on a big area. Don't get a single tattoo on your arm if you plan on getting sleeve down the line.
Not sure about the pain thing. Im actually worried not just about the pain itself, but that my body reflexes could take over if the pain is too intense. And that could ruin the tattoo because I moved away and now have a line that shouldn't be there. I react physically, and may have actually no control of what I do for a few seconds if either fear or pain gets too intense. I know that from experience. Haven't other people had moments like that ? I have got my first tattoo (on my upper arm), and that wasn't worse than that I managed to stay calm, but really not sure if other spots are gonna be much worse than that again. It did feel like getting scratched to bleed by a cat, or maybe someone cutting in you with a knife
I disagree with the part about not getting a single tattoo if you want a sleeve in the future. Like what else are you gonna do? Get 2 tats? Same thing as getting 1 if it’s gonna turn into a sleeve
no cap, you actually inspired me to get my first tattoo... got my first half sleeve, on my left arm. at a trusted parlor. haven't regretted it!, thanks!
Got my first tattoo today! Been watching your vids to pump myself up. Did it on my shoulder...would say it was about a 3/10. Was totally worth it because it’s in memory of my brother who passed earlier last week. Chose the shoulder area because it’s easy to show off but also easy to hide. I’m a doctor so when I’m at work I’ll want to cover up. Thanks for all your advice!!
I agree to a degree with your first sentence. But also some people might tap out or pass out which means the tattoo can't even je finished. So yeah, if we're talking between a forearm and a wrist. Don't let pain decide. But if we're talking chest vs bicep, just get the bicep first.
I got my first tattoo 4 days ago and I was nervous as hell about everything happening to it so i watched your videos and it calmed me down, hah my wrist/forearm will never look the same and I’m obsessed over my tattoo c:
First tattoo was in the middle of the night at my cousin's home studio. I insisted on the ribs and he tried to talk me out of it. Told him I knew what I wanted. He'd had so many clients back out in similar situations but we agreed and made it happen. First ten minutes I had some minor panic from the pain but I held out and after that first 10 minutes I had a huge endorphin high. It was smooth sailing after that!
I'm getting my first tattoo on July 3rd. An angel frog with a cancer ribbon on the back of my shoulder for my mom, who passed in December. The artist said it will be about the size of a baseball

I decided for my first tattoo to be a small one, noting detailed, very simple. Basically something that would be very hard to screw up. I'll probably get more tattoos later on, but I think starting with something basic will help me see if I even wanna get more tattoos in the future, how the whole process works, etc.
Recently got my first tattoo! Was a half back one and honestly the pain level wasnt too bad. It is hard ti care for tho on my own since i cant reach all the way around. Before, ur vids really did help me avoid some beginner mistakes so thank you!
My first tattoo was hand to elbow. It was ok. My artist started painting straight from the hand and after 10 minutes I was seeing stars in my eyes, but I took a little 5 minute break and from then on it was not much of a problem at all. For me, the entire reason I wanted q 😢tattoo was so that it is permanent and visible to me and anyone. It signifies my entire existence in a single concept. So it was clear that I chose the hand, and went up to the elbow so that it doesn't feel too small(and going for the sleeve would be too much area for that simple concept).
Just got my first tattoo on the back of my calf. Some spots i could barely feel, but there were some spots along the outside of my leg that did NOT feel great. Overall stoked with it though and excited for more!
My first tattoo ended up being all the linework for a traditional Japanese full sleeve. The sleeve is about halfway done now. I couldn't be more happy wiht my decision to do it.
I got my first tattoo on my stomach by my belly button. It hurt so bad and was not a logical first tattoo location. I don't regret it though and love that tattoo!
ManlyManTv A specific dagger piercing through a circle that’s engulfed in black flames! Going for black and gray style! Look up Aquamarine dagger and dark sigil if you want to get a better picture :)
My first one was across my upper back. Wasn't even uncomfortable, though I think the lack of pain was as much to do with the fact that it was linework only as the placement. Inner bicep was my worst so far - packing in the black work in a tender spot.
I want to get a tattoo soon for being 4 years sober of SH! yet i also wanna start covering my ugly scars from it! your video has definitely helped on where to start!!
I had my first tattoos done last week. I had Mickey Mouse done on my lower inner arm (just under the bend) and a huge Avenged Sevenfold Deathbat on my chest. Both were pretty easy for me and they're healing beautifully. Yay! 😊👍🎉🎊🎉
Got my first tattoo yesterday, it was a rose with a dagger going through it, old school traditional type. It’s on the top of my foot, and it covers most of the top of my foot. Artist said I was like a rock and the other artists were like dude you’re crazy that’s your first tat?! And that’s the spot you chose. I wanted something little more unique and easy to cover but also have a higher pain tolerance, overall wasn’t unbearable but also have no other tattoo spots to compare it to.
My first one was in my inner upper arm and it was very very easy. But pain is relative, because almost everyone says that it is one of the most painful areas to get a tattoo
Got my first yesterday and I went with forearm. A few spots of it were worse then I expected and other parts were not as bad. Over all it certainly didn't deter me from wanting more
ManlyManTv An idea I had was to have a snake coiled around a golf flag or club. My grandfather loved golf and taught me when I was really young. I want to talk to an artist to see if they have any ideas because I feel like there could be something better
I have just finished a total of 18 hours sat in the chair, "Not one sitting" I had to span the sittings out over a 3 week period, the pain involved was immense, my body needed time to recoup. I have a full sleeve Polynesian tattoo. Rough cost was around £1500. Pain scale from 1-10,, 10 being nearly walking out. Upper arm outer, 4-10,, Wrist 9-10, inner arm upper 10-10, elbow 10-10, elbow dish 10-10, lower arm outer 5-10, lower arm inner 6-10. Was all the pain worth it,, and all those sleepless nights,,, "Hell Yeah" "Too right it was" the sleeve looks absolutely awesome.
Pain scales are relative. I have my chest, arm, and knuckles tattooed. I just finished my thigh and without a doubt... this was the worst spot I've ever had. Going will full color is always more painful. More passes over the same spots to get the ink in. I could sit through a million hand tattoos, but for some reason, the thigh was a PITA. Also, just make sure your first tattoo is something you will actually want and will be happy with, and don't worry about pain. It won't kill ya. I didn't get my first tattoo till I was 26 and it was a 3/4 sleeve that took 24 hours of chair time. Between the ages of 18 and 24, I had so many horrible ideas for tattoos that I thankfully never got. Came close to... but never did. I don't regret any of mine.
@@EvolveINK it's black and white. The tattooist suggested he make it look Battered and worn around the edges, and I'm glad he did because it makes it look so much better.
@@EvolveINK also, it wasn't as painful as I thought it would be. The shading hurt more than the line work and the filling in of the Spade, but was only minor. Line work I'd give a 1/10, shading a 1.5/10
My first tattoo was on my upper left bicep. I am glad I did not get a shoulder blade done. Now I'm planning a huge back piece, it would have messed that up significantly. I don't think of sleeves as being one tattoo, but a series of interconnected tattoos. I agree with you a full sleeve is not a good thing for a tattoo newbie to have done. It took me 20 years to become ink addicted, but now that I am placement is everything. As I've said before I don't have tattoo regrets, placement regrets. People should choose wisely. My 3rd and 4th tattoos were a pair of swallows and they were on my upper chest and I sat for both in one day with no trouble at all.
I'm literally 16 and I wasn't expecting my first this yung however... my brothers want all of us to get the same exact one and it's sunset palm tree. Thanks for the help on the locations!
That’s awesome. Have you thought about what you are getting? Btw this whole channel is about educating you about tattoos so make sure you do your homework 😂
@@EvolveINKhonestly I'm still debating between jin kazama devil mark tattoo and cross with mom and dad's name. And ironically enough that will be on the shoulder. And trust me that's the plan doing my homework. Thanks for the reminder ☺️☺️
I’ve thought for a long time about getting my own (despite not telling anyone). My reason is simply so I can express my faith. 1. A Celtic wheel cross on my right forearm 2. A simple Celtic gryphon on my right bicep But I know that my parents wouldn’t agree (my dad said that my skin was fine without any). So I’ll wait until I’m living on my own.
My first was the middle of my lower back with a beautiful classic tramp stamp. I got it low enough that it was over my pelvis and it was highly sensitive. The burly guy was extremely rough, over worked the outline which scarred and is still raised and still gets itchy 20 years later.... It was not a great experience and scared me off from getting more for 20 years. I also realized the importance of the right artist and for a long time I had no idea how to find them. Which was fine because more tattoos were low priority while I raised my young children. Once I was ready again, financially stable, and knew what I wanted and tattoo Instagram became a thing, I found several incredible artists that are high class, respectful, and beyond talented. My first toe dip back into tattoos, my first was a sentimental piece on my upper back /shoulder blade with a beautifully done cherry blossom and rose. No harsh outlines that look like a rubber stamp that was colored in with markers but dimension and ultra feminine. The artist is also a fine arts painter and is extremely talented with oil and water color. It was 5x the price but 100x better, zero scar and vibrant and lovely. I got another on my arm cap /side of my shoulder /upper arm that extends half way down my arm to my elbow, I am booked to start my half sleeve on the other arm with an award winning color realism artist next month and my original low back girl is getting a face lift this weekend and adding enough flowers to cover half of my back, add vibrace back to the original portion of my first. This will take a few sessions but I am excited to get that piece started as well. All in all I am kind of glad my first tattoo was pretty tough on me and scared me off from tattoos while I was young otherwise I would have already covered myself in questionable pieces where I just walk in somewhere and whoever is there will do the tattoo. Not a great way to ensure you will love your permanent piece of body art. I have always loved tattoos and the look and idea of them and my patience has paid off with all the free space I have to design. I always saw myself as a very tattooed person stuck in a non tattooed persons body. Haha
i got my first tattoo yesterday and now that im seeing this i wish i woulda got it on my shoulder. cuz getting it on my stomach was a horrible idea for me.
“You can’t get a full sleeve as your first tattoo” Watch me! Nah but my first I do want a half sleeve on my left forearm but I’m going to be thinking about it for a long time to make sure it’s perfect
It really wasn't that bad, it took 2 hours to complete. Neither was my second one which took 4 hours. To me it felt like a fingernail dragging around my skin that was vibrating.
Had my sessions for my first piece recently, 6 hours on shoulder and 8 hours on outer bicep. All was fun and games until the arm pit, arm bend and elbow area came around. And 6 hours deep everything starts to fucking sting, i nearly crumbled on the bicep shading towards the end while it wasn‘t nothing too serious in the beginning. Take that into consideration before going in there thinking it‘s gonna be a breeze. For me personally as a former tattoo virgin the pain in the beginning was 6/10 on the easy parts, at the end it was 9/10 no matter where it was hammering in. With all that said i would do it again without a blink, one of the best experiences you can have imo
My first was my outer right forearm where I got my last name with shading around it. My artist started on my wrist and it hurt like hell. 😬 I almost passed out 3 times from hyperventilating. Everyone in the shop could tell I was a noob. 😂 Still, I was stoked to get it and I’m proud of it. My next will be on my bicep, where I will get a spartan piece. I believe in the saying from 300: Spartans never retreat! Spartans never surrender! 😁
ManlyManTv oh my goodness you actually responded!! But no I’m keeping all my tattoos now and the ones I’m getting in the future all black and grey. I’m just not much of a color guy
im getting a realistic japanese sleeve as my first tattoo and im halfway finishing it.About what the guy said that you cant get a sleeve as your first tattoo cuz it takes much time [or maybe i missunderstood] the main factor is really if your patient enought to get it and most importantly for me,if you love what youre about to get as a sleeve makes you ignore the time you need to get it and pain also, therefore its a walk in the park
I’m crazy excited and getting my first tattoo on my left outer thigh with some facing forward. I can see it when I am wearing my pajama shorts and shorts at home. I can’t do arms right now as I struggle to get jobs in general. I can hide my thigh tattoo.
I got my first tattoo on my arm like when you hold you arm up an it a rose an it says I love you in my grandmas handwriting! An I’m getting my second piece in a week
I got a big naked chicana on my bicep for my first “professional “ tattoo. Covered it up with a full sleeve years later. But technically my first tattoo was a three dots tattoo under my right eye my homeboy did at his house when I was sixteen. Luckily it didn’t stick and since just stuck with professional artist that i thoroughly researched on my journey to having a full body suit.
My first tattoo was broke down into three sessions. I got a 3/4 coloured sleeve on my right arm. Day 1 8hrs all the black down. Day 2 8hrs color and day 3 touch up all details 2 hrs.
Where do you recommend getting a small cross tattoo for the least amount of pain yet also being easy to hide? like a small cross tattoo that people get on their wrists. Super simple
ManlyManTv ok thank you, what would you say is the pain scale for a small simple cross tattoo on my right peck? That’s what I’m leaning towards but I’m new to all of this and I have a somewhat low pain tolerance
Your videos are helping me plan and know what to expect when getting my first tattoo atm I'm planning on get a bicep tattoo with a lion that I would like to turn into a sleeve one day
I commented first 😂 but really you have great advice I wish this was around when I got my first tattoo my first tattoo was on the back of my neck it's covered up now with something different then I got my second on my calf in the same day
I plan to get a red spider lily flower on my right inner forearm today. 5 years ago my friend took his life and I wanna get it for him because there’s meaning behind it. It’s my first and I don’t want it too big I hope it comes out great.
My first tattoo was a half sleeve on my forearm. It was huge but I knew I was going to get pretty heavily tattooed so I didn't really care. Now im struggling to find space on my body (Except for neck, head, face, hands, feet).
ManlyManTv Yes, sir! I plan on going with a time and space sleeve, but I don’t plan on making it super colorful. I have an appointment coming up to add on it. So excited!
Got my first tattoo on my ribs definitely remember the pain on that one. I will give the Artist credit he tried to convince me to move it but was already set on my ribs. But pain is temporary and this tattoo will last forever lol.
Thanks awesome! What do you plan on getting? I’d recommend doing some research so you’re well prepared for your tattoos lol. Check out this video here on how to reduce the pain! ruclips.net/video/1a7BkDR2-4g/видео.html
I have a fineline ankle tattoo of a sunflower. It was my first one. Loved the experience. No pain at all. It healed pretty good and is 2 months old now. Only 2 lines are a little bit faded but I don’t know if I should touch it up because the color of the tattoo is perfect. What do you think?
So can I get someone’s opinions on a first tattoo, I’m turning 16 on December 23rd and I’m getting a tattoo. It is “好维贝斯,” which stands for “good vibes” in English. Where should I get it, I don’t plan on it being massive but I also want it to be a decent size.
I got my first tattoo today… and I was so nervous. And turns out it wasn’t painful at all.. just like if you scratch with your nails in your skin. I did it at my shoulders/back of shoulder… also depends on the tattoo artist and the size of the design I guess
My first tattoo was on the inside of my forearm which took 3 hours(last year) and 2 weeks ago i got from my shoulder to just below my elbow tattooed that took 9 hours.
It’s normal to be nervous for your first tattoo. But don’t worry it really isn’t that bad. The pain is bearable and you’ll be able to get through it. I have faith in you lol
got my first tattoo on my chest covering the entire left pec wouldn't suggest it as the first. Your pec is surrounded by sensitive areas; near the armpit, collarbone, middle of the chest, and near the nipple. It was quite painful when he was doing the shading the line work was bearable. Also I workout a lot and have low bodyfat so that contributed to the pain factor.
@@EvolveINK Not too bad, it wasn't a huge piece so that helped haha, but I think it hurts the most when it's actually on the bone and when it's getting closer to the armpit
Got my first tattoo on left calf. Just got my second on my right calf. I think as far as pain the worst part was doing the outline. Maybe because second one was bigger?
I've booked my first ever tattoo at aged 60 :) an ironman logo on my calf (the triathlon, not the Marvel character). Rather than just the straight red M dot, I've chosen a more freestyle/watercolour style drawing.
I was ridiculously lucky. I took a picture postcard of the 2 Indian chiefs who led the “Train of Tears.” I went to a guy in southern Thailand. Seems he used to be a monk but left because of love. 👍😃. Anyway, he taped the picture to the wall by his work area and glanced at it and worked free handed. It is a brilliant piece. 17 years later looking exactly the same. Note: while I was being tattooed he was being recruited by. A completely covered guy who owned multiple parlors in England. Word of Genius gets around.
Starting from the shoulder is the best way to never get a full backpiece. My personal sugestion if you are starting is to keep your tats below the knees and the forearms. This way if you ever want a big pice you are sure to have room for it. And I'm talking about really big BIG tattoos.
My first (and currently only) is on the forearm; but already considering ideas for the bicep. Are they likely to get damaged/warped by going to the gym though?

I'm literally 16 and I wasn't expecting my first this yung however... my brothers want all of us to get the same exact one and it's
sunset palm tree.
Thanks for the help on the locations!
First timer...a friend of mine inspired me to get one. Just gotta set a date
My first tattoo is on my wrist, your video help me alot for healing tattoo, thankyou❤
I’ve thought for a long time about getting my own (despite not telling anyone). My reason is simply so I can express my faith.
1. A Celtic wheel cross on my right forearm
2. A simple Celtic gryphon on my right bicep
But I know that my parents wouldn’t agree (my dad said that my skin was fine without any).
So I’ll wait until I’m living on my own.
You know I was bold son 🤣 ribcage. Another awesome video bud
Thanks always Steve!
Got my first one 2 month ago. 1 hour rib session.. totally underestimated that one.
🐺🤙🏻
My fist tattoo is on my upper thigh. I love it. I'm planning on my second one soon.
Was it very painful?
It really wasn't that bad, it took 2 hours to complete. Neither was my second one which took 4 hours. To me it felt like a fingernail dragging around my skin that was vibrating.
im getting a remembrance tattoo for my mom :(
Had my sessions for my first piece recently, 6 hours on shoulder and 8 hours on outer bicep.
That..is spartan law
My first was a half sleeve on my bicep of the stairway to heaven with clouds and sunrays coming thru!! As soon as I turned 18
Damn that sounds really sick! Do you plan on getting it in color?
ManlyManTv oh my goodness you actually responded!! But no I’m keeping all my tattoos now and the ones I’m getting in the future all black and grey. I’m just not much of a color guy
My first tattoo was sleeve but only
Inner part i hope to finish full sleeve this year love your vids also keep up
im getting a realistic japanese sleeve as my first tattoo and im halfway finishing it.About what the guy said that you cant get a sleeve as your first tattoo cuz it takes much time [or maybe i missunderstood] the main factor is really if your patient enought to get it and most importantly for me,if you love what youre about to get as a sleeve makes you ignore the time you need to get it and pain also, therefore its a walk in the park
My first tattoo I going to be on my hand I can't wait
The hand for a first?
@@EvolveINK the tattoo I want is on the hand
@@EvolveINK idk if it's a good idea though lmao
I’m crazy excited and getting my first tattoo on my left outer thigh with some facing forward. I can see it when I am wearing my pajama shorts and shorts at home. I can’t do arms right now as I struggle to get jobs in general. I can hide my thigh tattoo.
I got my first tattoo on my arm like when you hold you arm up an it a rose an it says I love you in my grandmas handwriting! An I’m getting my second piece in a week
Just got my first tattoo for my birthday Aug 19th I got a mandola lion on my right thigh
I'm planning to get 3 rectangles, 2 long ones to represent my parents and a shorter one to represent me
That’s pretty cool. Love it!
Im getting mine done in a couple of weeks and im kinda terrified so you actually helped me!
Don’t be! You’ll be fine! I
Promise
First tattoo, I went for the upper arm/bicep. It was a good choice for me.
Smart! And you didn’t even need me to give you advice 😂😏
Got my first tattoo on my bicep it’s a 1 inch long weed leaf still don’t regret it 😂
I got a big naked chicana on my bicep for my first “professional “ tattoo.
Oh wow! That’s one way of doing it lol
This video has changed my mind from getting my tattoo on my calf to my bicep. I think it would be a better place with what I'm getting anyways lol
Nice! Bicep tattoos are so easy to get and awesome to look at lol
I am gona get tattoo tomorrow jst looked at the video 😌✌️
Awesome news! Be sure to watch a ton of videos on tattoos!
Where do you recommend getting a small cross tattoo for the least amount of pain yet also being easy to hide? like a small cross tattoo that people get on their wrists. Super simple
If you were to go really small, behind the ear is a easy place to get a first small tattoo. And because of the area it’s easy to hide
ManlyManTv ok thank you, what would you say is the pain scale for a small simple cross tattoo on my right peck? That’s what I’m leaning towards but I’m new to all of this and I have a somewhat low pain tolerance
Your videos are helping me plan and know what to expect when getting my first tattoo atm I'm planning on get a bicep tattoo with a lion that I would like to turn into a sleeve one day
Very cool!
I commented first 😂 but really you have great advice I wish this was around when I got my first tattoo my first tattoo was on the back of my neck it's covered up now with something different then I got my second on my calf in the same day
Cover ups are always fine! And thank you!😁
got my first tattoo a couple days ago, its a pretty large portrait of my dogs face on my inner forearm, didn't hurt one bit. was like 1.5/10
I plan to get a red spider lily flower on my right inner forearm today. 5 years ago my friend took his life and I wanna get it for him because there’s meaning behind it. It’s my first and I don’t want it too big I hope it comes out great.
It will! As long as you have a great artist to do it!
Got my first tattoo on my forearm got my second tattoo on my collar bone and getting third on my shoulder today
Congrats!
My first tattoo was a half sleeve on my forearm.
It was huge but I knew I was going to get pretty heavily tattooed so I didn't really care.
Now im struggling to find space on my body (Except for neck, head, face, hands, feet).
My first tattoo was on my hand. I got the infinity gauntlet!
Not gonna lie, that sounds so damn cool! Plan on getting more?
ManlyManTv Yes, sir! I plan on going with a time and space sleeve, but I don’t plan on making it super colorful. I have an appointment coming up to add on it. So excited!
Thats actually really cool bro
Tarkus The Great thanks, man!
Pics please
Hey man. Getting my first tattoo soon. Thanks for the advice I appreciate
No problem! Thank you:)
Got my first tattoo on my ribs definitely remember the pain on that one. I will give the Artist credit he tried to convince me to move it but was already set on my ribs. But pain is temporary and this tattoo will last forever lol.
idk why i’m here i’m tatted but i just like to support this channel lmao
Lol thanks jared! Most of my subscribers already have tattoos so you’re not alone😂
I have multiple tattoos and I’m still watching this haha
Lol thank you! A lot of people that have been getting tattoos longer then I have still watch these videos lol I’m honored 😂
I got my first tatto consultation tomorrow I wanna get my whole forearm and hand to start off a sleeve
I’m getting my first tattoo on Tuesday. It’s going to be my left forearm sleeve
Thanks awesome! What do you plan on getting? I’d recommend doing some research so you’re well prepared for your tattoos lol. Check out this video here on how to reduce the pain! ruclips.net/video/1a7BkDR2-4g/видео.html
@@EvolveINK inner arm is going to be Bernini style Jesus and outer arm will be a rose + cross combination
I haven't found bony areas to be particularly painful. Most painful for me so far has been close to the armpit, elbow ditch, and knee ditch!
I can vouch for the armpit. It hurts bad.
Omg I'm psyching myself up cause I want a fine line sunflower tattoo. Been thinking about it for 2 years now. I want my first tattoo to be a harry one
I got a cross on my tattoo and so far I love it looking for a Nother👍
That is awesome!
Just booked my first tattoo. It’s gonna be a bear face; half flowers, half geometric shapes. January can’t get here soon enough. Lol
Getting my first tat tmrw🤩
I don't agree with shoulder, because you can't think about big back piece after that
So can I get someone’s opinions on a first tattoo, I’m turning 16 on December 23rd and I’m getting a tattoo. It is “好维贝斯,” which stands for “good vibes” in English. Where should I get it, I don’t plan on it being massive but I also want it to be a decent size.
It depends on if you plan on getting more tattoos. You can get it on your forearm. That’s a pretty good spot. Or maybe on your ribs.
@@EvolveINK I’m planning on getting it on the inside of my forearm.
Hey men im a virgin in tattoo and im planning to get my first tattoo on my thigh , im excited and nervous of pain of a needle that punching my thigh 😓
It’s normal to be nervous for your first tattoo. But don’t worry it really isn’t that bad. The pain is bearable and you’ll be able to get through it. I have faith in you lol
my first tattoo was on my rightside of it.................1 year later I got my left side neck tattoo still I dont regret it lol
got my first tattoo on my chest covering the entire left pec wouldn't suggest it as the first. Your pec is surrounded by sensitive areas; near the armpit, collarbone, middle of the chest, and near the nipple. It was quite painful when he was doing the shading the line work was bearable. Also I workout a lot and have low bodyfat so that contributed to the pain factor.
I got my first tattoo two years ago on my collarbone :)
How was it?
My first was on my right calf. Currently getting a 1/2 sleeve in Japanese style on my upper left arm.
Mu first tattoo is going the be what ever rank I am when I get out of the military
I'm thinking about getting my first tattoo on my hip/side of thigh. More experienced people, how good of an idea is that and how painful is it?
Starting from the shoulder is the best way to never get a full backpiece. My personal sugestion if you are starting is to keep your tats below the knees and the forearms. This way if you ever want a big pice you are sure to have room for it. And I'm talking about really big BIG tattoos.
Got my first on inside of my forearm, pretty painless and easy to heal, I have many tatts now n am starting my left arm soon
Inside the forearm for me wasnt not that fun lol.
@@EvolveINK haha everyone say different stuff about the underarm, i wonder what its gonna feel like
My first (and currently only) is on the forearm; but already considering ideas for the bicep. Are they likely to get damaged/warped by going to the gym though?
