Great 30th Anniversary celebration imho! Personally I played all platformers in the series before Forgotten Land came out. It was very interesting to see the progression in game design through each release. Loved to see all the different transformations and friends, the classic pixel art games, the awesome 3DS entries, the amazing final boss of Star Allies… I was also amazed about the hidden lore and the recurrent evil final bosses. And I must say Kirby is the Nintendo franchise with the best music and the highest number of catchy, memorable and great songs overall. Also enjoyed the abundance of doujin and remix albums, plus the official concert releases. It’s also great to now be able to appreciate all the references to previous games in music, characters, etc. It made my playthrough of Star Allies much more enjoyable. I also bought the Kirby: Art & Style Collection book. It was also great to check many other books in scanned digital form like the 20th Anniversary Encyclopedia (hope they release an updated one in English soon). I wonder where Kirby could go next. I hope they add him up to the next Mario / Nintendo Kart and I’d love to see a 3D Kirby game like Forgotten Land but set in Dream Land and other more classic environments from the series, with the appearance of classic friends in 3D too (like Gooey and the animal friends). I’ve always been a Nintendo, Mario, Zelda and Metroid fan but after this year I’ve become more of a Kirby fan too, and I really appreciate the character now, from a game design perspective, and also archetypically, as an embodiment of good and innocence, but capable of absorbing all kinds of powers and transform in order to defeat ultimate evil. It was also great to discover your channel and be able to share the love for Kirby with others around the world 💕 Happy Birthday Kirby!
