wait so when does gb80 start playing ?
- the worst video game (apart from… bed wars, skywars, skyblock, and some ds imagine baby game * swallow *) is probably baldur’s gate 3 (joke) because it will consume your every waking thought, and all of a sudden, you forgot to feed your snowman, and you’re left with five completed playthroughs… but that is also why it is one of the best i’ve played, so stock up on a hefty amount of salt
- oh no… it seems i caught the pervasive middle school Burden Others with Not-At-All Poetry bug again (i don’t write poetry, don’t know how, and unfortunately am not shakespeare either, so _naturally_ i thought, “let’s whip up a cheesey, cliché [sonnet inspired] -poem- sequence of elementary words!” i am extra sorry; feel free to follow that sign to the door.)
A tapped through tree, car’s hubcaps left to rot.
The sun glares out, still mocking wind cuts by;
temps dip then soar then freeze ‘round trees distraught.
What happened to the flora since July?
If seeds all lie to bed will we stay here
to wonder where these harsh long days are bound?
The tallest tree’s based thick with many years;
it bows-a call for us to gather round.
Beneath the top hat brim winks golden eyes:
“I have a tale, saplings huddled bare:
Through cold bent boughs and snipers sap _is_ prised.
Leaves fall to bugs and breezes, time and wear.”
But through the trim of limbs warm syrup sings
to loot that Honda Civic and rejoice-
yarned jokes still fill the sky just like our king.
The roots are clear, the setting matters not;
the rot’s not quite so grave in this sunspot.
(sorry again-i was just in the rare shaking things up slash rudimentary iambic pentameter mood and had to get it out of my system. what i’m trying to say is thank you chazm for always placing a positive/nice/kind outlook/spin on the world [even on the topics that aren’t outright happy, you mold them into entertaining stories, jokes, lessons, or opportunities for connection]. you are absolutely cooking, and the title, thumbnail, and date of inception really don’t matter to me-i always love seeing what you have stored in starch-packed roots. no one does it quite like you!)
