      @@pistypondue1611 This may sound bad, but when Alex's friend Lewis was being dodgey with under aged girls. It was one of the best things that happened to that community. Because George Clarkey, whos the only one I really used to watch, and Arthur Hill, they called Lewis out and the two lived with Alex at the time who was still being his friend and i think theyve made a video or two after he tried to come back a few months after the drama then got slapped back under the floor boards with the cockroaches.
      But Alex moved out from living with George and Arthur and never seems to speak to them at all. And them two have seemingly grew as people and creators since. And the fandom deffinetly split, instead of Alex getting millions of views in group reactions, he just went full drama alert doing about 100 videos on lil tay, toxic gossip train lady and anything else to stay relivent. But he has seemed weird for so long.
      And im glad his "friends" seem better off without him
      And to still have been making vidoes with Kam Kirtkham!!! After he came out with his abuse story!
      Imagine hearing your friend tell their story of being abused then going home and abusing your partner!!

    as a domestic abuse survivor, ImAllex made my blood run cold. He embodies the exact same attitude that my abusers (my parents) did. The “i’m untouchable, you’re worthless” mentality, so confident in their blanket of superiority that nothing will come around, that they deliberately do & say the worst stuff to you because it gives them a sick rush. A sick rush in their mind that “won’t be found out” a way to keep their image “clean” to peers & unleash their monster behind closed doors. Of course when you do speak up, they go feral. My abusers quickly smeared my name in hopes to 180 the truth, pulling the “confused & sad” card when someone asked about my bruises or how they aren’t allowed near me now. I’m so proud of Alice. It only gets better from here girl. It’s gonna be painful but run. Run with all the might your legs can take dear. ImAllex, count your days. You sick evil creature.

If you can’t answer due to patient and work privacy that’s fine, like I said, I’m just curious. I hope that people keep this in mind the next time something comes out about someone and the response is "but he was always nice to me at work" or "but he seemed so nice on RUclips". Abusers almost always lure their victims in by pretending to be kind at first, and then slowly reveal their real, horrible selves only behind closed doors to a target the abuser has gradually broken down so much that the victim won't fight back or escape or even tell someone. I'm so glad this info was shared publicly because there are people like this in every community but because victims are so afraid to talk, it's easier for abusers to trick new victims. Also if anyone is experiencing abuse like this, please search support in your area. There are services that will give you transitional housing, go with you to police, etc. And if you can, please, please, please tell someone what's going on. Abusers will lock their victims in cyclones of self-doubt and shame to keep them trapped. Don't believe what your abuser says. Speak the truth and people WILL help you get out.

      Yes, exactly. People think it's a simple matter of choice. Not to mention that you have to flip your entire life upside down to get out. It's not easy. You can't just "go back home." If they're dangerous when you're with them, they'll be even more dangerous when you are at any number of locations they know of (i.e. your home, parent's home, friend's home) and they have the rage and anger conjured up by a sudden break-up and lack of control over you. That's why people can't just leave. When people need to escape these situations, it requires resources and people willing and able to help until the threat is dealt with.

    • @ImNotHere222
      @ImNotHere222 3 месяца назад +46

      @@KingChaddi I'm gonna bet you're a nasty piece of work in a relationship with that mindset. And when you've frightened your S/O, you tell them "just leave then." Knowing they won't, because they can't, because you know you can hurt them anywhere they go. It's not simple, it's never been simple. Any and every choice equates to the abuser becoming more enraged. Statistically, the most depraved actions taken by an abuser are done when they think or suspect their victim is trying to get away. They'll take/break a phone, slash tires, follow you, etc. Calling the cops keeps you safe until the cops leave - and then the REAL danger comes. Look at ANY number of the hundreds upon hundreds of DV turned homicide scenarios. The cops aren't magicians. I don't know how much more I can elaborate. It should be common sense. You're saying the equivalent of "If you're broke, just stop being broke. If you're homeless, buy a house. If you have cancer, get rid of it. If you're dying, just stay alive." Hi Phil! I’m an epidemiologist who covers STSS for my district. This Japanese story is highly concerning. In my state, STSS is a notifiable disease, but we often receive the reports of the disease very late. We very rarely find the cause of the disease, but it is insane how fast these bacterias can attack your system. This story is concerning because we often don’t receive the reports until a month to a year after they happen (we are supposed to receive them within a week). Although very very unlikely, if this were to spread, public health response may be slow due to health care systems being slow to report.

      @@GrimFelArtI am not a medical professional by any means so anyone who is more knowledgeable do correct me if I’m wrong, but I was under the impression that the toxic shock syndrome from incorrect use of tampons is different than the streptococcal toxic shock syndrome that’s taking over in Japan.
      The one in Japan is caused by a viral infection, and the tampon one is more individual and it can’t really be transmitted from person to person and it’s extremely rare even when tampons are misused (misused as in you are supposed to take out and change your tampon every 8 hours maximum).
      Of course if you don’t feel comfortable using tampons for any reason, it’s totally fine to not use them! I just don’t get the fear-mongering around TSS from tampons when hundreds of millions of women use tampons correctly without ever having any kind of issues. I also just don’t want to compare the two illnesses, because they don’t seem to correlate and it’s unnecessary to link them.

    Caitlin Clark has repeatedly responded to these calls with “that’s part of the game” and a desire to move on. The fact that the media refuses to do so shouldn’t be put on Clark or anyone she plays with/against. Does the media go ballistic with calls like this in the NBA or are they just trying to keep attention on the WNBA by any means necessary?

    • @jimmyjams962
      @jimmyjams962 3 месяца назад +5

      I get where you're coming from, but as an NBA fan, yes the media does "go ballistic" with calls like this. When Dillon Brooks almost concussed a dude by performing the same action that Angel Reese did, the media went OFF on him and labeled him a villain. Draymond Green had a string of flagrant fouls this year that had the media reporting on him for months. Again, I see the point you're trying to make, but this isn't sexism, it's just right vs. wrong in the world of professional sports.
      Also, again as an NBA fan, it's important to understand that a lot of the league's marketing power comes from off-court happenings (or drama) precisely *_because_* it keeps eyes on them. The WNBA has never had eyes on its league, and now the media is actually reporting on them because there is general interest from the public. If they claim to want what the men have, then this type of coverage is part of the deal.
      And finally, Clark may have "moved on", but her opponents certainly haven't. Reese continuously tries to diminish her undeniable effect on the league. The women of the US Olympic team specifically voted to keep her off of the team. And WNBA greats have been throwing shade at her since before she even entered the league. I think the media has every right to report on the obvious vitriol that Clark is facing from her peers. There is a pattern of behavior here, and this foul was just another example of that.
      Sorry for the essay.

      While I do think the media is trying to blow everything out of proportion, it does seem to me like Clark is getting targeting for more cheap shots than just “rookie hazing” as some have put it. She’s in an extremely stressful situation. All eyes on her claiming she’s the best, and then bringing her down if they don’t win. She is on a team that’s not great to begin with. She shouldn’t be expected to be the one winning the game by herself every night. I’m not trying to discredit other players, but the worst teams pick first in the WNBA draft. The part that has bothered me the most about the whole situation is how little her teammates seem to be sticking up for her. She gets knocked to the floor with a cheap shot (such as the Chennedy Carter foul) and they sort of casually walk over and kind of help her up. If that happened on any other team, or in pretty much any other sport, men’s or women’s, their teammates would be rushing over and in the face of the one who knocked her down. Clark is keeping her head down and trying not to draw too much attention. The people beating on her are blaming refs and calling favoritism. The Reese hit was a foul. Whether it was on purpose or not, there can be no argument that it was a foul, yet Reese implied Clark got special treatment to get the call in the first place. Some of the players, whether they admit it or not, are resenting Clark. They are jealous of the attention on her and they are taking it out on a woman who seems to just be trying to play a game and take the high road.

If you don't ask, you will never learn.
      I still stand by my comment. Rather than 'hating" on someone who is asking a question why not answer it and educate them. Her reactive insults and the slapping is super normal for abusive victims. It is a phenomenon called "reactive abuse" and it is the source of most of the myths about patners who abuse eachother. In reality, there are vanishingly few relationships that can maintain equal, mutal abuse. In almost every case one of the partners is the primary abuser, and the other is a reactive victim.
    Abusers will use reactive abuse on the part of the victim partner to futher manipulate them and to attempt to get them to bury the story, just like he did here. Worse, they will gaslight (for real) the victim into thinking that they are the really abusive person, and that the abuser is actually a chill person who is just going crazy trying to deal with the victim.
    Hallmarks of that are constant belittlement and cruelty, while always placing the blame on the actual victim, which is what looks to be exactly what happened here.

I remember only bits and pieces of it but I know in the beginning it started with a tickle and then by the middle of the night I was throwing up. From vomiting we had to go home early, I was admitted into the hospital I think almost 72 hours later and I was in and out of consciousness. I was placed in a private room after some treatment started, but I distinctly remember having been woken up very harshly with a light shining in my eyes and they were asking me questions. I'm going to assume I almost died based on what other medical professionals have told me. The medication I was on was intense, all of them upset my stomach. I was in the hospital for about a week, and I wasn't really able to eat solid foods or anything for a while.
    What I'm trying to say is PLEASE take this seriously, take care of yourself and if you think something is wrong, go with the assumption that something is actually wrong. Some other symptoms can include turning colors. My skin was turning purple and red in some areas, if you placed pressure on some body parts it would be white. Even though it's not as common please take action sooner rather than later. After I contracted STSS I was prone to strep throat for 5 years, I had fluid in my lungs because when they treat you for STSS they need to flush you, I think I had 6-7 bags of saline the time I was there. Not saying this to scare anyone but man my alarm bells went off as soon as Phil reported on this, take care, be well and stay hydrated you beautiful bastards!

He then went right back to his life's work of trying to get independence for his home province of Khalistan, including participating/facilitating multiple targeted killings and bombings in India, using his Canadian citizenship as a shield.
      Now, I'm not going to get into the pros and cons of the Khalistani cause because one man's freedom fighter is another man's terrorist, but let's not pretend that any western country would have put up with this bullshit for a hot minute. As an American, if I had killed a bunch of people for January 7 OR some ACAB CHOP movement, and then tried to run off to Canada on a fake marriage citizenship visa, do you think the USA would stand for that? my brother in christ there is audio, video, EIGHTY TWO PAGES of blatant proof. Stfu with that "iNnOcEnT uNtIl PrOvEn GuIlTy" shit. What, do you think it could all be AI?? And how does going to the police first provide more credibility? Most of the time the police don't do shit these cases unless the girl is nearly or actually dead. Bro is a piece of shit & should be thrown behind bars, no more social media access plain & simple. If that's not immediately clear to you then you need to heavy reevaluate yourself.

      "Innocent until proven guilty" doesn't mean anything when you have so much evidence to prove someone is guilty. There is clear evidence of Alex threatening to harm and even kill her. That alone proves he's guilty. Why do you think everyone turned on Diddy? Because we have clear surveillance footage of him beating the shit out of his ex. So many people were defending him until that footage came out. "Innocent until proven guilty" only applies when we don't have a lot of evidence to go off of, and it's one person's words against the others. But when we can see the abuse happening with our own eyes, then the phrase "Innocent until proven guilty" is meaninglessness.

      More credibility than… what? It’s still a 50-50 situation where you’ve only heard from one party involved. I’m inclined to think that this “imalexx” may be in the wrong, but the adage of “guilty until proven innocent” is built off the backs of countless wrongful convictions/ accusations, and you simply cannot ignore that fact. Do we have to go over the Johnny Depp/ Amber Heard saga again?!

    I Live in Japan. I was infected with STSS. It infected my tonsils causing tonsillitis that spread. It was miserable. I was in the hospital for three days, which should have been a week. I left the hospital on my own accord because the doctor was unwilling to answer any of my questions about my infection and treatment. He was using me as a learning test subject. Doing all kinds of tests that didn’t have any explainable reason. Unnecessary CT scans and blood tests.
    Only now am I learning the truth about my infection and I feel like a lab rat. This was in early 2023.

      The reason being is it's a national security threat, talks are going around that SSTS might be weaponized by a country who really, really doesn't like Japan you can guess who... Those tests weren't unnecessary, it's in Japan's best interests to know everything they can about STSS incase a "random" outbreak happens.

      The need to be open and honest with a patient should not be preceded or mitigated by irrational fears or policies of state or government. I left the hospital because of the actions of the doctor, (or rather inaction/lack of communication.) That doctor said to my face “I saved your life!” I thanked him and told him goodbye. I also avoid the Naica department of that hospital like I would a snake. Their Sekigeka doctors are completely different, though. (Naica=internal medicine, Sekigeka=Orthopedics.)

    For the Caitlin Clark story, this is nothing new. There is a reason fights are always broadcasted or big hits are always talked about like this. Ratings and money. When the next thing happens, this will die down, just like it has every other time. Maybe show up in an ESPN biggest hits or fouls of all time a few years from now.
