Hi Paul the Tamron weighs I believe 805 grams I have got it to balance well with the RF 35 but that is only 305 grams so you may find that either it wont balance or if it does it will hit the eye piece on the back motor I made a video showing how to balance it with the RF 35 ruclips.net/video/GoFGo8B2HcE/видео.html if you are interested but I would look would go for the new DJI RSC2 to be on the safe side hope this helps cheers Hieth
Thanks Adrian I know as I have one and have done a short video on it only thing is that it does not make the RF 24 to 105 work with the ESOR without touching the eye piece which is a shame
I have recently bought a ronin sc and have a dslr 800d on it. The big issue I'm hating straight away is drifting. If I move the camera left or right a little, it drifts. Despite balancing and auto tune etc. Really thinking to return and get the weeble s. At least it will be future proof for other lenses and camera setups
I take it you have updated the firmware ? You might be right to do that if you can as the WeeBill S does cope better with bigger and heavier setups - it is a shame as the Ronin is better quality and I prefer the DJI app 🤔
@@HiethGeorge i have done a firmware update but sadly it did nothing. Also very true on the other gimbal as after further research I have found that Zhiyun are not so sturdy with things breaking on them. I have decided to return the ronin sc and wait until October for DJI to announce their new gimbal in hopes of them announcing something similar but for bigger cameras with button support.
Hi Lorenzo - I would check the compatibility list if I was you there is a link for the Weebill one in the description that said these are not large heavy lens so my prefference for build quality and app userbility would be the DJI also a friend of mine has a similar set up to you and he went for the DJI after trying both out - hope this helps and drop me a comment if you have any other questions cheers Hieth
@@HiethGeorge Thanks for your advice, I did think the same and now I have a further confirmation. Most likely, for my type of setup I will go with the Ronin sc. Better software app and better tracking mode.
Nice review, but why nobody is saying that weebill S doesn't have USB-C charger when Ronin has? For me personally, it's a complete deal-breaker no matter how good the rest of that tech is. I mean, these details really affect the workflow. I like to have one charger for everything, but this guy can't use it, you need to pull out batteries and charge em in an old fashion way.
Hi - You are right I totally agree - I still prefer my DJI Ronin SC - I have just brought their counter weight system so hoepfull that will help with the issue I have tryign to balance larger lens on the Canon EOS R - Thanks for watching and leaving a comment if you have any quesitons let me know and I will see if I can help cheers Hieth
Agree with you on that point. I totally dislike the micro-USB connector. I even e-mailed Zhiyun that I would buy the Weebill in a heartbeat if it had USB-C instead of the archaic micro-USB.
I'm just wondering if I could use the RF 35mm prime lense on the EOS R on the SC. I'm still not sure if the eye piece is only a problem when using larger or heavier lenses vs smaller lighter lenses or if it's always going to hit the eye piece. Thanks again for a great video breakdown
Hi again this is the set up I use all the time the EOSR with the RF 35 to be honest I dont think you need any other lens on a gimbal I did a short film on this set up here is the li k just be careful with the volume as it was before i sorted things out dint want to wake up the baby again ruclips.net/video/GoFGo8B2HcE/видео.html
Hi - The A6400 is supporrted check out the compatbility list there is a link in the description of the video - according to that it will balance with the Sigma 30mm 50mm and 56 mm it does not mention the 16mm as for the cage I cant be 100% certain but it does work with my EOSR and EOSRP with the Small rig Cage - hope this helps cheers Hieth

Anyone tried the Weebill S with the canon 6D mk ii + lens 24-105 stm? It's on the compatability list....but I'm just afraid of its size....hitting any axis?
HI Heidi - you will be surprised the gaps are loads bigger on the motors than any other ginbal I have tried and it manages the EOSR without hitting the eye piece so should be fine if you order it from Amazon they have a 30 day full refund policy here is a link amzn.to/2QDLj7z so if it does not work then you could always send it back it states on the compatibility list no need to remove the eye piece on the 6d so should be fine hope this helps cheers Hieth
@@Heidi_Hany Hi - sorry I only own the Ronin SC so cant be 100% certain on that however there is alot of clearance plus the EOSR is 100g lighter than the 6d so this would mean the 6d would be further forward than the EOSR so I think you will find it will have more clearance than the EOSR - I really do think you will be fine do you own the Rnion S ?
Hi Balaji - it will depend on what lens set up you are going to use - if it is a light lens set up for example the RF 35mm then I would go for the DJI Ronin SC as it is better quality but if you plan to use different lens and in particular Zoom lens like the RF 24 to 105 then go for the Zhiyun Weebill S hope thi shelps and feel free to ask any other questions I will see if I can help - cheers Hieth
Hi - Thats a tough one as I dont know anyone who owns the Lumix G7 so cant be 100% certain - I know the Lumix is quiet light at 410g so either should be able to balance easy but it will be dependant on the lens weight as well. I have checked with my contact at DJI and Zhiyun and they do not have it listed on the compatibility list. My personal choice would be the Ronin SC or the Weebill s over the Crane - I believe Amazon still do a 30 day full refund if it returned so I would give them a ago - let me kno whow you get on - cheers Hieth
Hi Drew - I dont own the XT-1 so I cant be 100 % I can tell you that the X-T30, X-H1, X-T2, X-T3, X-T100 are 100% compatible - as the XT-1 only weighs 430g I would imagine it will be fine as the EOSR is over 600G the compatibility list is only for the camera connetion to the gimbal so it Should balance etc but you may not be able to press record on the gimbal but that would not be a problem as I always use the camera buttons anyway. If you are looking to order one if you do it via Amazon they have a 30 days return policy if it does not work you can send it back here is a link if you want amzn.to/362Fzcj hope this has been useful cheers Hieth

Weebill-s Is the superior product. More weight handling, no need to have your phone mounted on the gimbal for tracking, easier to fit front heavier setups, smaller. Game over
Not quite Shaolin the Ronin has a better app and is also better build quality but I do agree the Weebill can handle heavier setups it is all dependant on your personal needs they are both great gimbals
Hi - It is not listed on the compatiblility list it only has the 6D, 5D, EOS R , EOS RP and M50 the 7D weighs 910 grams so it is heavier than all of these and that might be an issue - you may get it to balance dependant on the lens combo you want to use - if you order it via Amazon they have a 30 day full refund policy if it does not work here is a link amzn.to/2SHrn36 hope this helps cheers Hieth

Awesome review, Hieth! Great audio. Great footage. Very informative. Keep up the great work! I just bought the weebill s. Can't wait to try it out.
Thanks alot David really appreciate the feedback especially on the audio I am sure you will enjoy using the Weebill S
Hello Hieth how easy is it to balance Canon EOS R and Tamron 35mm f1.4 on the Ronin SC please?
Hi Paul the Tamron weighs I believe 805 grams I have got it to balance well with the RF 35 but that is only 305 grams so you may find that either it wont balance or if it does it will hit the eye piece on the back motor I made a video showing how to balance it with the RF 35 ruclips.net/video/GoFGo8B2HcE/видео.html if you are interested but I would look would go for the new DJI RSC2 to be on the safe side hope this helps cheers Hieth
You can get a counterweight plate from Smallrig and you'll be able to balance the camera with larger lenses.
Thanks Adrian I know as I have one and have done a short video on it only thing is that it does not make the RF 24 to 105 work with the ESOR without touching the eye piece which is a shame
Good work
Thank you glad you liked it cheers Hieth
@@AM-wi6gw If you can wait thats what I would have you seen this article ? dronedj.com/2020/09/04/dji-to-release-two-gimbals-ronin-s2-and-s2-lite/
Man my ronin sc always “drifts” to the left or right when I’m trying to follow someone how do I stop the drift???
Hi I take it you have tried alll the calibration methods - if so what mode are you using it in when you are following someone ?
I'm still undecided between these two gimbals. My setup is: Sony a6400+sony35mm f/1.8 OSS+Sigma 16mm f/1.4.
@@HiethGeorge Awesome, I'll take a look at it. Can't wait to see more of your great content, Thank you
I have crane 3 and thinking of selling it for weebill S... i am using A6400 + cage + Sigma TRIO 16mm 30mm and 56mm
Great video buddy, I just actually ordered my SC as my moza aircross is a bit obsolete already hahaha missing all the fancy stuff

Which best gimbal of cannon 200d
Hi If you can I would go for the New DJI RSC2 it would be awesome, if not and you want a cheaper one then the Weebill S would be more versatile I hope that helps cheers Hieth
I do not know english :/ can you tell me which one is better? ??? ????????????
camera : canon 700d
Hi I think I have already replied to you Hira but just in case here is what I think - To be honest I have not tried it with the Canon 700d but looking at the specs I would say it is safer togo for the Weebill S for your Camera here is a link amzn.to/2QVYlh9 - however the Ronin SC is better quality and has a better app you wont be disappointed with either gimbal - I hope this helps if you have any other questions please feel free to ask - cheers Hieth

Does Ronin-SC work with (GH4+ EF 50mm 1.4+ Metabones speedbooster) setup ?
Hi I dont own a GH 4 but i have got the EF 50mm and just check the combined weight of your setup listed above and it is similar to the Canon EOSRP and EF 50mm plus adapter which work perfectly so it should be fine but I cant confimr 100% if you order it form Amazon on this link amzn.to/2EhJQN2 they have a 30 day return policy if it did not work hope this helps cheers Hieth
Hieth George thanks mate, I’ll give it a go :)

What’s song is this. Great video too. Going to buy the ronin
Thanks for stopping by Joe which song the one on the intro or during the video ? Good choice I keep going back to the Ronin myself just a shame it is limited on larger lens but I have just purchased a counter weight system that might help with that so watch this space ill have some videos on it soon cheers Hieth
Hieth George thanks for the quick reply. The song that plays at 1:15. I have tried using SoundHound and Shazam but it can’t find it. Great videos by the way!!! Keep it up .

Hieth George
Oh seriously? Thank you so much for the instant reply 🖤
So do you know if the gaps are equal to these of a ronin s??
@@Heidi_Hany Hi - sorry I only own the Ronin SC so cant be 100% certain on that however there is alot of clearance plus the EOSR is 100g lighter than the 6d so this would mean the 6d would be further forward than the EOSR so I think you will find it will have more clearance than the EOSR - I really do think you will be fine do you own the Rnion S ?
Hieth George
Hmm...yes that makes sense!
No I don’t own a ronin s (a friend has it) so have tried it before with my camera
Thank you again
@@Heidi_Hany No worries and if you get one let me know how you get on - good luck cheers Hieth
for canon eos r which gimbal is better sir?
Hi Balaji - it will depend on what lens set up you are going to use - if it is a light lens set up for example the RF 35mm then I would go for the DJI Ronin SC as it is better quality but if you plan to use different lens and in particular Zoom lens like the RF 24 to 105 then go for the Zhiyun Weebill S hope thi shelps and feel free to ask any other questions I will see if I can help - cheers Hieth
Ronin SC or Crane Plus for lumix G7?
Hi - Thats a tough one as I dont know anyone who owns the Lumix G7 so cant be 100% certain - I know the Lumix is quiet light at 410g so either should be able to balance easy but it will be dependant on the lens weight as well. I have checked with my contact at DJI and Zhiyun and they do not have it listed on the compatibility list. My personal choice would be the Ronin SC or the Weebill s over the Crane - I believe Amazon still do a 30 day full refund if it returned so I would give them a ago - let me kno whow you get on - cheers Hieth
I currently have XT-1 is it compatible to the Weebill S?
@@HiethGeorge oh.. so i won't be able to press record. Hmm but that's ok i'll order one tomorrow. Thank you for the response and a great review!
I dont see it as a problem however it is not to say it wont work it is just not listed on their compatibility site they have done a few firmware updates so you may find it works fine - thanks for watchign and your comments - I would love to know how you get on with it so drop me a line if you like - cheers Hieth
Good review. Slowmo test shots in a gimbal review is not a good idea though.
Thank you Farrukh and thanks for the advice on not doing slowmo shots for a gimbal review I thoguht but having normal on the cars and slowmo on the other bits it would give people a different perspective - cheers Hieth
weebill s does it has a standard and essential like ronin s
Hi George yes you can get 3 packages with the Weebill S here are the links to the Standard one witha 5% discount amzn.to/2TQJmVk and the Pro Pacakge amzn.to/3cRbqAW hope this helps and let me know if you have any other questions cheers Hieth
HAHAHA Sat here trying to hummmm!!! :D
Hummmmmmmm .....
Canon 7d Suport webil s
Hi - It is not listed on the compatiblility list it only has the 6D, 5D, EOS R , EOS RP and M50 the 7D weighs 910 grams so it is heavier than all of these and that might be an issue - you may get it to balance dependant on the lens combo you want to use - if you order it via Amazon they have a 30 day full refund policy if it does not work here is a link amzn.to/2SHrn36 hope this helps cheers Hieth
