I recommend that you watch the video again. In the part where I am wearing a mask, I am not in the woods but on a London Tube train. I agree with you that wearing a mask in the woods would just be strange hence why I didn't wear one whilst alone in the woods.

Excellent. Enjoyed that. Me and the better half will be using this set up on a motorbike tour to Scotland this coming year. It’s absolutely ideal as you can tie it off on the back of my tall sissy bar then trail it out behind the bike ideal if your in a situation where there are no trees about. As you said it takes minutes to set up and take down so you can be off and away before anyone knows your there. Many ways you can configure it to suit your situation. Great choice of shelter when you are on the move. Thank you Ben as always a great video looking forward to many more.

Yes, there is the option of tying off one of the middle loops to raise it a bit. It's a good idea. However, it's good to see how it can be used with the basic tie-out and peg-out points I think. If in a hurry: rain or other bad weather, it's good to know that with a bit of parador and just three pegs you can have a pretty good shelter up in 5 minutes! Many thanks for watching Niall.

    Hi Ben, new subscriber here.
Enjoyed this video. I've been a "normal" tent camper for years now but more recently I've been mucking about with tarps for a change. My favourite pitch so far is the Trapezoid Pyramid design as demonstrated by Papa Hiker on his channel. I like this design because you have the option of either full enclosure or an open porch.
I see you share my approval of the Trangia Triangle. Smashing bit of kit isn't it.
I live in N. E. Lincolnshire and stealth camping around here really is STEALTH camping. The farmers hereabouts, I'm sure, would like to exterminate walkers with a can of something nasty.
Have only watched a couple of your videos so far but looking forward to catching up on more.
    Take care.

In theory yes - with everything inside the bivvy. You'd risk a bit of rain on your face and shoulders unless you went into a side-sleeping position. I always use a tarp unless I'm 100% certain rain isn't expected. Thanks for watching and apologies for the late response to your question!

Great video. Pretty sure I'll be getting a bivvy to play with this year. This video has persuaded me further. I just love the versatility of having a bivvy. One thing that has always put me off is the potential for creepy crawlies on my face. How do you find it?

I love my bivvy to be honest. Never ever had any creepy crawlies on my face. Wondering whether it’s an urban myth…..

Hi Alastair. I’ve never been cold in this down bag. It’s the MW Everest Down bag which I think may have been slightly renamed but always seems to be on a deal. There are question marks over how ethically sound the down sourcing is but I did get an email from the company once stating it was but I don’t know why they don’t put that on the website. Odd. I have done a full review of this bag a few days ago. If you search Everest on my channel, it should come up. Thanks for watching.
