You got the perfect amount of resistance in there to make the intonation and feel all the way up the horn balanced and just right! My Conn curved soprano can be kind of picky with mouthpieces, which is why I’ve always liked this one, but now it’s unstoppable! Jeremy"

Hi Johannes, Thanks again for all of the great videos here, very informative and useful! Keep them coming! I have a quick question: I've got a well-used metal Link STM 6 facing. Nothing wrong with it, I don't want to reface it or open the tip up or anything, I just want to polish it up and restore a lot of the little scratches and marks on it (no major dings or dents, just minor surface scratches, but a lot of them....). I see in this video that you are using a rotary tool with I think with a buffer accessory attached to it, to shine/polish the outside surface? The final product looks fantastic! Like a new mouthpiece! Would you recommend something like that? Thanks in advance for any advice you might provide.
Does anyone out there know if ROGER BLACK still owns the Sax shop on Noyes in Chicago? Was he bought out by a reputable person, or is it gone? Sam Ash is the only retailer I know of in Raleigh, N.C. I scored a Meyer 9* hard rubber, but looking for vintage metal 2 pc. construct. Dukhoff from 40's or early 50's, Wolftayne, RUBBER BEECHLER, anything!! Had a vintage '60 Berg. think it was 95/1, but hated it, tried Link. but didn't like it. Anyone play Jody jazz? would appreciate feedback. TENOR IS '72 kING sUPER 20, oNE of the last yrs. they still annealed body tube.
