First Two Weeks of July:

🌧️ Afternoons: Tropical showers in the afternoon offer a refreshing cool down after the morning's heat.
🌊 Waves: Expect consistent swells from the Southern Hemisphere providing chest to head-high waves, with an occasional bigger set. Mornings have light winds, shifting onshore by lunch and smoothing to glassy conditions for a beautiful sunset session. With fewer crowds, you can truly enjoy the consistent waves to the maximum.
Latter Half of the Month: Veranillo
As we move into the latter half of July, Costa Rica experiences "Veranillo," a mini-summer break from the rains. This effect is caused by the entrance of trade winds from the Caribbean, leading to a significant reduction in rainfall compared to the rest of the rainy season. It's like a mirage, a touch of summer in the middle of the green season.
