Yep. Hasbro's modern toys are so bad and cheaply made nowadays that I gotta go online and buy the Takara versions (basically Hasbro's Japanese brother. Their figures have much better paint jobs and quality control)
In fact, I've only bought 5 Titan returns figures, and THREE had loose joints, My leader class soundwave had two left arms... What the fuck Hasbro. Takara never lets this shit happen

This was my very first transformers toy review as a kid, I still watch these all the time, Great memories.
I still have this action figure of Devastator. I got that for Christmas when I was 9 years old. Then years later my dad wanted to give this away or sell it and I was like "No. Absolutely not." So I secured it in the attic along with my other Transformers action figures. 😂
I used to watch this 7 years ago and I used to have this toy it broke lol(I was young):-( by the way thanks for making my childhood better!:-)

for 100 bucks they should each transform into a robot mode like all of the original toys did. All the combiners had their own robot modes as well as the combination form. Awesome figure though altogether, but I agree about the price point.

Got mine today at Wal-Mart for $65. Wouldn't have bothered if my taxes hadn't come in, but glad I did. The electronics are crazy, though. I can drop a piece of paper on his arm and his torso will go crazy. It keeps yelling every time I bump the shelf, or try to pose it, or sneeze nearby. Gonna take out the batteries, I think.
transformers toys are way cooler now than when i was a kid. my old devastator was just a bunch of tiny all-orange vehicles that could barely hold itself together.

Rampage isn’t red in this interpretation because when he combined he was yellow. His robot form was red. Although saying that I do think the studio series combined mode looks better in red than it would in yellow

I was 12 when I first watched this review. I always wanted this toy but it was always out of my mum's budget, so I had to settle for the legends class devastator instead. I'm now 24, have a university degree, a driver's license and I still have my legends class devastator (sadly Longhaul's left arm broke off due to the joint being too stiff to manoeuvre even to this day) I might just buy this as it's still available if you know where to look

The lack of robot modes doesn't really bother me, but leaving out Overload does. It's no longer a movie toy. I'd have got it if they had all seven, or even nine, Cons in it.

The movie is good, he's looked so tight on the movie, the toy looks better to me! looks easy to transform, but hard to put together. i love the devastator, he looks raw!

Unlike some transformers, I can see this one actually depreciating in value especially in open auctions on eBay.
Okay - I've been trying to figure this out now for HOURS.
Why the hell does the front of Mixmaster's truck mode disconnect/fold away if it's not needed for either of his modes? O-o
