Sarah, you are just overflowing with serenity and happiness. I definitely get the vibe you are about to burst at the seams with joy. What an incredible journey this summer has turned out to be for you. God Bless and sending Prayers for your sweet friend.
One of the main reasons I haven't watched your channel is because my cousin passed away on the 13th of last month. Pancreatic cancer we talked about it before.. I took it pretty hard and still I can't believe it. Had an impact on my life it changed me I have a different outlook on life and appreciation for others now more so than ever before.. he was so young still he was 51. Just a year older than me . At the same time I think he was blessed by being given the chance to make peace with himself and others. Most of us will die unexpectedly and not have that chance..So I believe he was blessed..
Hey everybody, let's reeeally start to share her videos and try and get this beautiful woman to 100,000 , because she deserve's it , and don't forget the like button 2.❤🌲🐕
Hello 👋 Sarah, I hope your doing well. Very beautiful place...and I must say that your commentary in this video is spot on! Your comments are so beautiful and your voice is so pleasing to the ear. So soft and heart felt and calming...that ones worries or stress just seems to slide off ones shoulders and your instantly immersed in the beautiful nature that surrounds you! Just love to hear you do your commentary in your videos, because no one seems to be as articulate as you are with nature....its a beautiful thing! What a beautiful verse at the end of this video. So beautiful and well said, Sarah. Or should I call you Ms Mother Nature? Thank you Sarah.... lovely video! God bless 🙏
I ran across your video when you had that horrible experience with those guys I had anxiety and you are a brave woman and now I'm hooked on your videos. Thank you for showing us those peaceful places you go too. I wish you the best in your journeys and prayers for your friend My best friend also has lymphfoma cancer and I'm wishing for a big miracle. Take care. 🙏🙏
That’s one of my favorite places! You have to go when the aspen trees are turning their fall colors… my family and friends would hunt and camp up there every year. I love to get into one of the large groves of trees, sit down and just breath… 🙌🙏
Sarah, this trip has brought back so many memories!! When I used to take my family years ago up to Tahoe, we traditionally would go up from Los Angeles to the north side of the lake and then go back home through south lake Tahoe over the monitor pass, where it ends at the eastern Sierras side 395. Then drive south towards LA. Like you, I love that rush of wanting to know what's down or up those dirt roads to explore!! I'm so glad and can see your beautiful smile and restful spirit, knowing this truly is your happy place to be! Thank you for sharing this awesome video and as always my prayers and positive vibes are with you my friend 🤗😃👍
I live nearby & yes there are many lakes, a river & even a hot spring nearby! Thanks for visiting and highlighting the natural beauty of the area. Lots of cool mining history here too!
Such a beautiful drive you took us on Sarah. Hope all is well with you and your friend. Still praying for his speedy recovery. Safe travels for you and little one 😊
Your pure joy in this video over the beauty of the area, tickled me and I was happy for you. I know what it is to just go for a drive even for an hour out in nature and get away from whatever it is we need a break from. Happy that you get this opportunity!❤
Monitor pass is spectacular in the fall when the trees turn color. To complete the drive you need to go to Hope valley and then Blue lakes ( highway 88). The Aspen drive. I've seen bears on monitor pass around five times. When there's a good snow I snowmobile monitor. Beautiful. You missed the fire look out at the top north of the road I think where you pulled off on the dirt and turned around
❣Thank you, Sarah. ❣ Every time I come onto RUclips I think of you and hope you are taking care of yourself along with your friend. This was a beautiful drive.
That Pass is Not that long , But sometime's it take's me a Full day or dazes to get over , 🤗 yes because it's such a wonderful drive im Allway's Stopping and looking and walking around ! It truely is a 4 joint ride and all day & and sometimes a camp out on top in the trees ! Try West shore of Tahoe , Blackwood canyon drive to the top and checkout that lookout over tahoe 👍👍
At 7:00 looking south is little antelope valley/slinkerd. Magical place now a protected wilderness. We hike there and also Heenan lake areas. Really nice camping up at the top near summit, just south of the pavement in the aspen trees.
Gorgeous 🥰 I’ve never been to California,Arizona and New Mexico. Other than airports for a layover lol. You inspire me to get off my duff and load the dog in the truck and just go…..I’ve been single and celibate since 2015. Had some really crazy stuff happen in 2019. Then the Pandemic. Sometimes it’s just better to be alone. I’m 56 ..still have lots to see and do. I’m also a female army veteran injured overseas. I wish you the best . And stay safe,…ur a smart cookie…I have shall we say,..recognized your antagonist. 💙🫡‼️
Another awesome 18:15 I live near topaz lake,it's very beautiful here. Lake tahoe socks with all the people ,traffic and everything that goes with it. You can hardly find a parking place or quiet access to the lake. Very frustrating to live so close and be overwhelmed with people. Stay safe!
Yes your right LT has been ran over with so many tourists over the years!! I've been to Lake Topaz a few times coming from the south up 395 as well! Beautiful area and much less crowded!!👍
I just love your videos. I appreciate your outlook and honesty. In reality we are ALL broken to some degree by life experiences. You soldier through and are such an inspiration 💕🙏
Were all survivors of something. Some worse than others. The key to making peace with the daily pace is gratitude. I list you add to daily. Trust me. Even if it's just a bottle of water from a stranger. Gratitude stops resentment from unraveling and taking over your thoughts. We can't do both at the same time. I am 24 years sober now. Even my basic life. I have so many strangers who saved me. Many don't even know it. Jeepsey. You live one minute at a time sometimes. Sharing it. For that I am grateful.
❤ Love that drive, something about coming down into the valley in Nevada makes you feel so tiny. It's so huge and the mountains are so big and it's all so visible but seems way out of reach.
Monitor Pass is part of the route taken by Jedediah Smith in late spring of 1827 when leaving California at the end of his first exploratory journey, the first crossing ever of the Sierra Nevada by a non-native. Smith first came down from Ebbetts Pass, then continued from Monitor Pass past Topaz Lake into Nevada.[1]
You know what would be a fun idea to add to your videos? Favorite camping cuisine recipes. Maybe give each special location you visit its own recipe and name it after it.
Wow Jeepsy, I had a rough day today. I didn't get home until eight o'clock, so it's been a twelve hour day. The first thing I saw on my feed was Monitor Pass. Watching this, my mind is able to slow down, very beautiful scenery, and very relaxing music in your videos. I can't wait until I'm able to explore the backroads as much as I used to.
@wandering jeepsy Had a thought for you. I know nothing of how YT works as far as creating content but i was thinking that it would be awesome to have one of those long- looped videos of your driving roads with the music (like this one) with no words that i could put on my tv for background ambience!? I usually put on bob ross lol because i find it very calming. Like your videos! My st Bernard loves it too ❤🎉
Such beautiful and scenic country you go through. Us people out East would probably like seeing your beautiful country drives out West because how often do we get out there and drive if we don’t live out there. I hope you everything is going alright for you and you are staying healthy.
Love your channel Sarah! I'm from NC. Want to see bears? A. Known bear habitat B. Lots of bear food C. Time of year for them to get fat D. Don't get between them and food E. Camera ready!
I haven't watched your videos in about a month or thought about you and for some reason I had dream about Lil one last night LOL . She was riding with me on a zip line through the mountains LOL. I can't explain it but that's what it was LOL but strangely you were not in my dream only She was😅
Plus. That's a ton of work you do. Drones, music and dreaded editing. This isn't easy. Ya ever think of a course to share. Begind the scenes. Would be so cool.
Lake Tahoe area is to me the most beautiful area on the planet! Wish I could visit again, but I'm 74 with no car, and bus companies won't let me take my e-scooter along like luggage. 😢.
Bears are not out in the daytime usually. There are a ton of them but they are elusive and nocturnal. Believe me I live in bear country and close to all of the wild creatures. Most sightings are at dusk while driving or at night when they are looking for food.
You want to see bears? Go to places where bears are eating. Taylor creek in Lake Tahoe every year has salmon that come in and the best way to get to see them is to visit them when they are getting ready for winter.
Not sure what dirt road you attempted. One of those goes to the historical Curtz Mine. Dont know what month you drove this route. Late June is generally very green with flowers.
I have been over that pass many times. Never get tired of it!
Sarah, you are just overflowing with serenity and happiness. I definitely get the vibe you are about to burst at the seams with joy. What an incredible journey this summer has turned out to be for you. God Bless and sending Prayers for your sweet friend.
I absolutely love when you do these travel videos with beautiful music and touching words. So serene!

I know that area. I lived in Markleeville as a teen. Just beautiful up there. I'm not far from there now. Just over the border in NV.

With the lack of traffic, I figured you reserved the road for yourself! What a nice day of beautiful views. 😎
Reminds me of colorado...careful you might find that bear you keep watching for... :) Thanks for sharing Stay safe.

off 89 near the summit is Leviathan peak, on side dirt road with an old fire lookout. what a view from top of the lookout.

I loved this video! ❤
Hi. I like your camera work. The dash cam and drone footage is really good. The Jeepsy girl isn't hard to look at either! 🙂

This is a nice video Sarah.

Absolutely stunning!
You should also check out Sonora and Tioga Passes too... south of Tahoe near Yosemite.
Thanks for the nice drive and views! I used to drive that sometimes to and from Reno, and I forgot how beautiful and empty it was on 89 there ..

Good Lord! I am older than the stone!😮
Go up there in the dark and scan the valley below. In my youth all the lights could be counted on one hand.
You might not see 🙈 🐻 bears on monitor pass , but maybe a monitor 🦎 lizard 😂😆
3 really rocky can be done in a stock jeep but not 4. Have fun.
😀😃😄
My shadow is cast by no fool
My peace e with you a marvel gaze
Such a peaceful video! Thank you.. Not sure I would be as keen to see a bear though 😂
What a beautiful place! But I doubt you’ll see a bear! Hahaha.
When are you coming back to Arizona? We need to go Wheeling when you get back 😁
I haven't watched your videos in about a month or thought about you and for some reason I had dream about Lil one last night LOL . She was riding with me on a zip line through the mountains LOL. I can't explain it but that's what it was LOL but strangely you were not in my dream only

Monitor Pass is SOUTH of Lake Tahoe, by 42 miles.
The pass is much closer to, immediately south, of TOPAZ LAKE.
Lake Tahoe area is to me the most beautiful area on the planet!
Wish I could visit again, but I'm 74 with no car, and bus companies won't let me take my e-scooter along like luggage. 😢.

That area must be amazing in the winter, are there any ski resorts around? How far are you from Tahoe?
Did you drive over to Markleeville & stay at Grover Hot Spring's state park & Drive over Hwy 4 over Ebbitts Pass?
Not sure what dirt road you attempted. One of those goes to the historical Curtz Mine.
Dont know what month you drove this route. Late June is generally very green with flowers.
