Yeah, it’s a pretty simple install and thanks! The bars I got from Toyota when I bought it. The dealer had a used set in the back and they included it with the purchase. My second RAV4, that I have now, has these bars off Amazon. They look and install the exact same way, you just have to put the bars together. www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B07SYZZJT8?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_image
We have an LE and there is just a rubber strip WITH NOTHING LIKE AN INSERT. What in the world is going on? We have a toyota Rav 4 LE model 2022. Why is our car freaky?
I don’t know what the part numbers are. After a quick google search, it looks like it’s two separate part numbers: front and back. The front is: PT27842192FR The rear is: PT27842192RR
@melodynakamura4028 if you have a different system on your roof, no it won’t fit. If you have the same thing on your roof that I do, it will fit. The RAV4 hasn’t changed designs since 2019.
Did you have any issues with water leakage? I’ve read on the RAV4 forums some people have experienced water going inside when it’s raining or going through a car wash. The only way they noticed the leakage is from the water marks that started developing inside the ceiling of the vehicle. Apparently this is a common issue amongst some vehicle owners?
Correct! Not all cars are made exactly the same, that’s why there’s different trim levels and options. If you have the base model like I have, you would have flush mounted roof bars with the pop out access to the bolts. I’m too poor for higher trims, which is fine because most of the crap they put in these cars I don’t want.
Mine does not even have the hidden mounts for the bolts to install one. Bought it brand new las Aug. in 2022. just got of the phone with a sales rep, so I cursed him out after he told me I could go pay to get aftermarket installed and he hung up on me LOL@@smitheys
Oh HUB caps. Yeah, I was in the process of changing my rims, so I took them off. Even if I didn’t change the wheels, what’s wrong with taking off the caps? They were ugly.
Perfect! I’m doing mine tomorrow. Watch out 99 year old grandma!
Good video; I like the idea of using a ratchet wrench for the bolts. However, do not tighten with ratchet wrench; use the torque tool to tighten.
Ripping off those wheel covers looks nice on the white LE. Good contrast. More rugged look lol
Yeah, definitely! I was in the process of putting new wheels and tires on but got the roof bars first so I stopped and put the bars on first.
Thanks! Put mine on today! Easy peasy!
Great video, thanks 👍
Thank you. I see now it will be a simple job.
No thank you! I try to find things everyone can enjoy and isn’t too overly complicated/overwhelming. Thanks for watching!
Thanks
Long wait at long hones
U made it look simple. What company are these bars? Where do I get them please
Thank you

Toyota coral springs Florida asked $950
What trim of Toyota RAV4 was shown in this video? LE, XLE, Trail or Limited?
That one was an LE.

Toyota keeps telling me that they don't have the bars for this model Rav4. Do you know the part number that you're using?
I don’t know what the part numbers are.

@SMITHEYS thank you man
Not a problem at all, Luis! Here to help, sorry it took a few days.
Where did you buy those racks?
I got them directly from Toyota. I just found the exact name and googled until I found the absolutely cheapest price.
This can fit a toyota rav 4 2022 le?
Absolutely!
These do not fit the 2022 rav 4. I clicked on the link, entered my vehicle info, and said does not fit. I have the 2022 Rav4 XLE.

No, no issues whatsoever. I hope you don’t either!
Wrong! my 2022 does not have the pop out plastic access to the mounting holes

What’s a “huf cap”?
