- A single phase motor is an electrically powered
rotary machine that can turn electric energy into
mechanical energy. it works by using a single phase
power supply. they contain two types of wiring hot
and neutral. their power can reach 3Kw and supply
voltages vary in unison.
what is single phase water pump?
single phase water pump a single phase pump runs on a
single phase power supply. three phase water pump
a three phase motor water pump needs three phase power
supply. it has a simple design with small body size it
can be highly efficient with high starting torque.
why magnetic contactor is used
Magnetic contactors are used in the electric motors
to balance the change in frequency of the motor or
the state of the motor which can be termed as the
switching of the motor from on and off state.
magnetic contactors act as a safeguard to protect
the power supply and the motor.
(MCB) Miniature Circuit Breaker
Miniature Circuit Breaker MCB automatically switches off electrical
circuit during an abnormal condition of the network means in overload
condition as well as faulty condition.Now days we use an MCB in low
voltage electrical network instead of a fuse.

Thank you for your video. What kind of push button switch do I need to use? I bought momentary switch before I didn't know. When I finished wiring only working while I keep pushing 'start button', I think I need different kind of push button switch.

USA some instances 220v is transmitted over two lines and the third line is neutral.
I have a 3 phase OL I’m using on a 1 phase motor. The OL has 4 NO contacts, what do I use them for ? I can’t control the motor with the NO contacts correct ? The NO contacts have continuity(13,14). Do I need a separate contractor to make it work ?

youve got a wrong way to put a supply into the circuit breaker i think, supply side/incoming should be on the top side of the CB and the load side/outgoing should be on the bottom side of the CB. Do you agree?

Can a bad motor causes the contactor to remain close?
Can I use modular contactor of Ac7a and Ac7b rating instead of Ac-3 rating. It will be safe to connect 2000watts single phase motor.

If my contactor works with 220 volt .. i only feed bye one líne .. in other words i feed only bye A2... the bobine only have one líne
I think its better to show first how the control circuits works ... the stop start botton then to the magnetic coik of the contactor... then the power circuit from the mcb to the line 1 line 2 of the contactor then gojng to the motor.

Music is horrendous. Video is worse
I’m afraid I need to point out an error in your circuit. The very last ‘+’ (live/red) connection you made (3:15) was from contactor terminal 14 to a point BETWEEN the green start (NO) switch and the red stop (NC) switch. It was meant to be the holding/latching part of the circuit. However, because the start switch is a momentary switch as soon as it is released current cannot flow back to the contactor ie it cannot feed the holding circuit (contactor terminal A1). To correct this simply remove and replace by making a direct connection between 14 & A2.
I tried this. It causes a short. The diagram at the end works as desired.
