The 27th Historical 10-footers Australian Championships 2021

The 2021 Australian Championship for the Historical 10-footers was held on May 1-3 on the Brisbane River. In a fleet of seven boats it all boiled down to a contest between Dale Jacobsen in Miss Marlene (NSW) winner on Lake Macquarie NSW in 2019, and John Anderson in Truant II (Queensland) the winner 3 years ago in Brisbane. Coming into the final race they are equal on points...who will win the final race and the series? My Great Uncle Tommy Brothers sailed a champion 6 footer named Truant. My grandfather told me he once attempted to put an 18 footers no 3 rig in it. When they put it in the water the weight of the rig sent it straight to the bottom.
