Angelina Jordan's birthday is January 10, 2006, so she’s actually only 18. I know, she's been singing professionally for over 10 years already, so she might seem a bit older, which is completely crazy! ❤

Thank you for supporting Angelina. Many people think this is a Beyonce song but it actually is not. This song was co-written by Toby Gad and BC Jean for BC Jean. Beyonce covered this song. Toby wanted to redo many of his hits and decided to collab with Angelina as well as creating new songs with her...one of which being Bad Valentine... an unbelievable performance ❤❤❤❤👣
Nice reaction! She's actually 18 now. On the piano is the co-writer of the song, Toby Gad. Just to let you know, the other co-writer of the song, BC Jean, was the first to sing the song as well as the person the song came from. She had just broken up with the man that she loved. Per Toby, they played it for Beyonce one day and she really wanted to sing and use this song, and the rest you say is history. Angelina and Toby have been working together for a while now and are creating new music for her to sing. They teased a song at a special event called Bad Valentine and it should be coming out within a few months. This collaboration is awesome! The Piano Diaries is Toby's project of other singers singing his most famous songs. Angelina of course is singing this song made famous by Beyonce.

This is the version of this song with Toby one of the origional song writers of 'If I was A Boy,' that I prefer. Thats because there is not too much production. I know they feel they know how to do their job but really this version is the way to handle Angelinas voice and the subtle nuances of her voice. Sometimes less is more when you have a vocalist of her quality. Other artists may need cleaning up but every crack every slide around perfect pitch is what conveys the emotion. Thats jazz it rides in front or behind the beat it adds imperfection to make perfection.
Toby Gad is the guy who wrote this song, and specifically asked Angelina to sing it. He’s a well known composer and producer and Emmy winner. Angelina is stunning as usual. Love her voice!👌🔥💎🔥❤️

I predict that at some time in the future, probably after I'm gone, there will be a Major motion picture or more of her rise to the pinnacle of stardom. They would have so much material to work with. She is likely the most documented superstar ever! Of course, long before then, she will be a household name - one of those artists known by one name "Angelina". i.e., the G.O.A.T!
It's amazing how many reactors call it a Beyonce song and it is not. Tony Gad wrote some of the most popular songs and also co-write this song.

A cover only in the sense that what Beyoncé made was a cover of the song written by BC Jean and Toby Gad, originally performed by Jean in 2008. Beyoncé's cover was that same year.
In this video the pianist is Toby Gad .. the Piano Diaries are a celebration of his hit songs. He invited Angelina to England with him to perform .. this is the fourth version I have heard. I am not sure if it is really a cover when a singer is standing next to the composer as they jam to create a different version of the song.
