I bought this for a backup amp...and my Genz Benz blew a tube on a gig so i plugged this in and guess what...this is my primary amp now..and i bought it for 310 US dollars!!! Its been a workhorse!!!

Good to see a company like Thomann selling their own bargain basement brand, Harley Benton. They are also making some basses that are cheap and have gotten good reviews as well. I won't pay over $1500 now for any bass guitar.
I know there is a price difference, but is it worth getting this over a warwick gnome pro?
For a reasonably close copy of the Quilter Bass Block 800 that sounds as good or better, I have to applaud Harley Benton for exposing (intentionally or not) the fact that the Quilter is overpriced at more than 2x what this amp goes for. I have the Quilter and it's a powerhouse of an amp, but there isn't a good enough excuse for why it cost me $600 in 2016. They're now $750!
In fact, just to have a backup and open up more possibilities for my rig (more cabs and stereo effects), I'm going to get the Harley Benton. The gain knob on the Quilter is the only thing missing from the HB. It adds some growl and snarl depending on how you set the amp, but that can be done with a pedal or two.
While I'm here, I have to note that the Quilter outpaced a Mesa Subway 800 in the same room with more clean headroom and better drive.
DUDE the treble is cranked and it does not RIP YOUR FACE OFF. I really dig this amp. it is very musical sounding!

What is the MKII? Can't find any info about it anywhere
I have some minor white noise coming from my speakers with this amp, the noise seems to just be there doesn't get alot louder when I turn up the volume, did you also notice this?

This is intriguing but I'm curious if it gets as loud as other similarly rated amps. Does anybody know?
Sounds really good, especially considered the musician friendly price. By the way does anyone of you folks uses this head as a power amp platform for a modeler like i.e. the hx stomp? I'm curious to hear your experiences in this regard. Many thanks Jayme and keep on doing what you do!

God damn Harley Benton...I don't know how they manufacture what they do for how much they charge. I can't sell a bass anywhere near what they can 🤬
They are the sole distributors of all harley benton gear. So they pay the manufacturer for the guitars and they get all of the profit from the sale.
Two speakers out? Hell yes please and thank you 🥰 Oh so you didn't show how it takes two 4x10 cabs or 2x2x12 cabs or 1x15inch cab with a 4x10 cab for sound comparisons then...sigh. Thumbs down...
DO NOT BUY THIS HEAD. It shorted out on me soon after setting it up and the return requires registering in with customs , which takes time plus a fee, and the return shipping cost is on the customer.
