I Put Bio Renewable Oil In a Sports Car...

- So a few months ago in October, I changed the oil in my FD RX7 to a full synthetic bio based oil and over 820,000 people watched the IG Reel. Apart from the naysayers, many people were interested in the results and I have finally driven enough miles to share! I hope you enjoy.

Pro-tip:
When free pouring oil, turn the bottle spout upwards… it will offer more control & won’t “glug” out of the bottle… 👍🏼
You just changed the way I change my oil.
LOL @ parking violation ticket! Good stuff Iori, Keep it up.
I keep the tickets like a pride statement.
I am very exciting about this company too
I use Red Line racing oil, been using it since Tri-Point Engineering rebuilt it in 1998.
Great.....great.....great.....great 😁
I don't have experience with redline but I have heard amazing things.
I use the 5w30 racing oil in my Lexus IS F(v8). Great stuff!
So far so good.
I really love Ravenol RUP, Amsoil , Motul Ester sport , and Redline. Had good success running all of those oil. I would love to try Renewable lubricants
I think a side by side comparison of the pre-mixes would be insane.
Happy blessed birthday to you in advance 💛.
Oh Thank you! It's in two weeks!
Interesting video.
Thank you!
*_This is going to be interesting._* >.>
The engine is still alive and well after 3000 miles and everything looked pretty good!
This brand is a hidden gem, so are their fuel additives & calcium grease
I agree
I have enjoyed the products so far!
Another good ester product I like is Lubegard Bio-Tech just add to crankcase.
I love the vegetable oil in my truck if you run it for fuel in a diesel truck it’s amazing and can you please do a video on the the 3rd Jen Dodge Ram please and thank you
The ram is actually not my truck, but I could. What would you like to know about it?
Always change your oil when it's hot. It gets all the contaminations out.
I'll keep that in mind for the next one.
Fine work! This oil looks better than what’s at Popeyes.
Woah, don't disrespect the king of chicken! lol
6:44 thats what she said
It makes it so much easier, you have no idea lol
Curious to see the data of the old oil
Same actually. Hopefully the news is good.
Felt that hand smack lol
Lol, it happens sometimes
Use the rotary fuel additive
I use their premix
is this oil can remove the ticking engine noise of ISF ?
to be honest, I don't think so. you may have a more serious problem.
Keeping your engine clean is 90% changing the oil frequently and that oil looked pretty dark
Well its a rotary so they are no stranger to carbon, the engine oil is changed in this car every 3000 miles and considering the amount of oil that remains in the very large oil coolers in between changes, its unlikely to come out the same color it went in.
All oil gets pretty dark with some use. :P
maybe i should put this in the rb
Let me get some data back on my oil before you do that, but if you want to know specifics, I know the company is responsive on IG
@@ioriOki yeah forward me the info
Have you got the results from the oil test yet?
I have! I just haven't made the follow up video yet, but I will work on it this weekend for you guys! Thanks for hanging out.
Can’t wait to see test results 👌
I was Technical Sales Coordinator for this company 1990-96 when my cousin Bill & I started.
I can tell you stories you would-not believe about this formula. I just returned from visiting “Racer Kenny Brown” of Browns Transmission in Ventura CA. who I sold this formula to in 1991. He’s a winner & can also tell you true-stories all day long…
This is the best formula ever and it works in almost all lubricants, ask me how?
Just for fun I'd like to see how much of a car can be made without using petroleum products. Use a Diesel that runs on used cooking oil and uses vegan synthetic engine oil.
I feel like its entirely possible. Probably not so much for super high performance but maybe
even if it is "renewable bio" it is not plant based. often it is synoecized oil from methane gas or other "renewable" sources. av even be syngas from sewage+++.
If I'm not mistaken, the company uses natural esters in their rotary products, specifically premix, which is based on either soybean or colza style seeds I'm pretty sure. I'm not an expert AT ALL but I did a bit of research on this and understood it as such. I am sure it comes with other synthetic materials, but the base oil appears to be natural and/or renewable.
@@ioriOki i hope it is "remade" and synthesized.
and a Ester oil is normally made syntheticaly. personally i liek to use the soya based stuff in the margarin and not in the engine ;) i just got a shipment of Motul V300 ester oil for my car.
Well hopefully this stuff changes the way we lubricate internal combustion engines in the future.
@@ioriOki i rather use food for food and oil for oil. fully synthetic oil i snot made from normal crude. it is often made from gas of different types.
I heard olive oil works better
I heard that but I didn't know if I should pick extra virgin or robust.
This girls putting vegetable oil in her car 😰
I mean, I would not recommend cooking with this stuff. lol
It didn't blow up!!!😁🤙
-The_SpikeSpiegel
Of course not! It's running really well.
@@ioriOki this calls for a celebration😂🤣🥳🥳🥳
I can only imagine the amount of mansplaining that makes it your way. but your cars are sick!
Its out of control, but I just nod and be polite lol
Thank you.
Plant based for humans animals or cars is incredibly stupid. It is a sign of a lack of curiosity and common sense.
I'm sorry you feel that way, there's nothing wrong with that opinion, I just don't share it
