thats why if it was somehow possible that someone made a bluetooth MP3 player id buy that, although i imagine it would be annoying trying to pair it since bluetooth is still janky technology that you have to disconnect and reconnect because it wont pair stuff sometimes. all the free songs id have on the go, you have to have the brains but you can easily download free songs off of youtube videos alone and place them in a MP3. wont be as uncompressed as CD quality but better than nothing, cant really tell audiophile quality from a bluetooth speaker anyways.
i bought the pulse 5 (300usd here in my country) and its not a good speaker for its price in terms of sound quality. there are better ones at 1/3 the price. i only bought it bec someone wants it for a gift, i tested it, and was really disappointed for how much money they charge for it.... i bought the doss soundbox xl about 5 yrs ago at 100usd and its way way better than this. still using it now on my mac mini. the other one that's in my radar are the lanchiya's with tube amp...
Dang that’s kind of wild, how did you get yours for $300usd, online it’s like $250, in stores here it’s like $190 and I got mine for $120 because it was on sale. Honestly I’d be mad too if I spent $300 cause the speaker is definitely not worth $300

Pulse 4 - is Best
The worst experience for me was selling my JBL pulse 4 (2 units) and buying the JBL Pulse 5.

It’s mainly because clones are coming out with the red square, I’m not a fan of the big logo either but it’s not a deal breaker

When I bought the pulse 4 I was horrified by the soundquality. But still prefer the design of the pulse 4 over the pulse 5. But not worth the money.
