- I recorded this video a few months back, but lost motivation to edit and post it until now! So sorry to those of you who are keeping up with this car and were excited to see the progress! This video details the progress on my "Barn Find" 07 H6 Outback and what I have done to bring this car up to speed to be a reliable daily driver, as well as some modifications I have done to make it more interesting. As always, I look forward to video suggestions and comments. Thank you all for the support and feedback!
It's looking really good and I appreciate the budget build philosophy. Love the wheels; I'd been thinking of lowering my '05 but maybe all I need is slightly bigger tires.
Even though we each have different engines, I'm so happy that you finally got to get into one of these 3rd gen wagons. These are some of my favorite cars by far and its sad that they are slowly becoming more and more rare. Something about the drivability, styling, and the build quality makes these so awesome. You really have to own one to see what it is all about and see why they are so fun. The previous gen was obviously a bit better build quality I think but these 3rd gens will always be my favorite!
They are great cars, just wish I would have gotten it a few years ago when it suited me more
Just got a 2003 legacy wagon 5 speed manual. One owner
We have tons of them in the Northwest! Heck there are tonssss of Subarus everywhere. I'm in Montana
i’m looking to pick one up and am curious to see if you’d recommend/any advice of issues i may expect to face?
it’s an 07 outback with about 180 000kms which is around 111 000 miles,
looks to be in good condition but just would love to hear input of someone who had one! i plan on doing some car camping with it
Nice! It turned out great. 👍
Thank you! Cheers!
I've got the 2007 3R premium, such a sweet car. You didn't give us a promo of the new exhaust sound!!
I have some old clips somewhere I will post. It was an awesome car, but I started driving a lot so I needed something with better mpgs :(
@@slushboxer with the cat back how did you get around the o2 sensors throwing up the engine light?
The cat back should not affect your O2 sensors at all. It replaces all of the piping AFTER the catalytic converters, and right behind the rear O2. My catalytic converters were bad on the car previous to the catback install, so I would have needed to replace them to remove the check engine light regardless
Good job man, looks really nice! Do you know if Sti end mufflers fit outback midpipe flanges? Or do I have to swap whole section like you?
I believe they will fit length wise but the bolt holes are clocked differently on the STI midpipe so you would have to get creative with the mounting
All this video for no sound?
