A tip from someone who buys auctions and storage units to resell. Not every item is a winner but I don't trash ANYTHING until I know what the value is. That table was worth a few dollars more than the $20 yard sale price on it. The small TV with the DVD or VHS player you dropped on the ground is great for the kids to watch their shows or movies on. Anything new and sealed like the Risk game, especially if it's old and out of print can surprise you what it's worth. If it's an old game and you're not sure if it's salable...we sell the game pcs, cards special loose parts. Old Playstation or Xbox games can be worth money depending on title and condition. You said you didn't make any money on that unit and that's because you threw it all away. Hopefully in time you will look at things differently and make more money.
The table was worth at least $50. There is a demand for those old formica retro tables. The Risk game is collectible and an unopened one could easily bring you $50+. That tv with the vhs player was worth money too. People are buying the older small tv's to play older game systems such as Atari and Nintendo, on. Not only that, people that collect vhs tapes need a player for them. You had a number of collectables as well as other sellable items there. I could have easily made $300-$400 on that unit. You need to learn what has value and what the market is for items before trashing things. You'll get there in time.
Couldn't hangout with the Kids and have Fun but NO you Love Repoing Sheds and now your having Fun Buying Storage Units. Just Keep Up The Great Video's Coming And Always Be Safe Out There.
It might be a good idea for you to look around in some antique stores to get an idea of what things bring value and what they are worth before you just trash everything. Even old furniture can be reused if donated. That knife set could be worth anything from $10 to $400. depending on who made it and condition.
If you ever come across a couch like that a gain, just know the 3 back pieces do disconnect to make moving it easily. Just look under the back side skirt and there should be levers or something similar.
I loved that table. I dont know where you are located however. Or I would be trying to buy it. Dont trash the good useable furnature! I would have restored that dresser too, in a heart beat and there are a lot of prople just like me. Dont trash it if you dont want to mess with selling it. Donate it as it can be repurposed! Loved watching you though. You guys were amusing!
That baseball was $8.00 before it got signed. Worth a look on any of the signatures. The table and Sony TV "had" good value. Fun to see what you can find. It's a LOT of work if you do it as a business, but you don't have a dumb boss :) Happy holidays!
try some Thrift Stores and Consignment Shops: Stores like Goodwill and local consignment shops will often take gently used items. Consignment shops typically sell your items for you and take a percentage of the sale price: Flea Markets: Renting a booth at a local flea market can be a good way to sell a variety of items in one place. or Specialty Stores: For specific items like furniture, you can try stores that specialize in second-hand furniture. Pawn Shops: For valuable items like electronics, jewelry, and tools, pawn shops can offer quick cash. Donation: If making money isn't the primary goal, donating items to charity can be a good option. Some charities might even offer a tax deduction for your donations. when you do charity work it comes back 10-fold as the bible says. Today 12/20/24 I went to the post office to mail a few letters, and an older lady was sitting in her car as I pulled up next to her, she asked for a jump her battery was dead, so I gave her jump after she started her car, she offered cash I said I didn't need it and I said to her to just pay it forward (meaning to help someone else in need) one day I may need help from someone.
@@ShedHappens I just recently sold a motorcycle with * Government issued registration* Hope I don't get a visit from the license plate cops..lol.. good videos.
You need a little junk store to sell stuff in we got one whare we live here in west Virginia she come up with stuff i for got about or never seen be for
Please don't ever shoot ammo you find, even if it fits your gun. Unless it's sealed/in factory packaging and you are sure it has been stored properly. Loose ammo that someone else may have hand-loaded is too much of a risk. Blown up firearm or injury (or worse) is not worth it.
You have a smartphone Google Lens might be your friend... instead of guessing if things are valuable or have any worth???..LAXVESPA-LOSANGELES... OR dropping things because you're stupid, that small Sony TV was probably worth a few bucks... if it was working -- if not it could have been sold for parts.... now there's probably some computer work some photography required, maybe even in eBay account, or Facebook local Marketplace for items you don't want to ship... I would assume that you or your wife might have some of those talents or be able to learn them???.. might not get rich but it would be a way of recouping much of your outlying costs... that Sears Die Hard battery charger might - probably worth a small fortune... if it works... You just embarrassed yourself on your Channel.... oh well

I think that old style table had some value
That sealed Risk game, the littletv with builtin dvd player and the mcm table are the 3 most valuable items in that unit.
I laughed my arse off when that wheelchair flipped backwards 😅😅😅.
That table looked like an antique.
People pay for those retro tables - they refinish them.
The Lord of the rings risk game if it sealed still sell for $130-160 on ebay.

I kind of think that old table had some value. And I know gamers love buying those old CRT televisions.

Any Sony Trinitron has serious value; unlike other color TVs of 50 years ago, were absolutely bulletproof
Sony sells...Laxvespa---LosAngeles
That is an old table you should be able to get $75.00
The table was MCM which is all the rage right now. Mid Century Modern silks well.
You've got a cute loving family ❤❤
Thank you! 😊
Table is antique worth a little.
Good Friday evening Josh and Sarah!
I heard once that some people used to tape envelopes with money under dresser drawers. Looks like fun.
Hey thanks we’ll have to start looking underneath drawers.
Why toss the TV on the ground? That's $100 easily at a pawn shop. People use those old CRT TVs to play old video games on.
To each his own.
& folks that have old consoles to sell like to have a crt along with the deal to show they work
YAY! More treasures???
That made myday josh up set the wheel chair
Mrs. ShedHappens is cute and has three kids, well the big kid I bet is a hand full of trouble.

I wasn't able to sell a vintage 1919 license plate on facebook marketplace because it was government issued registration.
Doesn't sound right... Vehicles are sold and don't they have Government issued plates on them?
Wow that’s interesting.

To be honest, I came here for the burn pile
I know you're just having a bit of fun but you have a lot to learn if you want to make a few dollars.
Yep agreed.
💜🎄💜🎄💜
Someone's father died can they just put all their stuff in a storage unit more than likely
No, do not do this, it is obvious this is for content
Some Viewers would say you’re Gluttons for Punishment. 🤔👎
I don’t understand your sentence in the thumb nail?
Junk
He actually had some valuable items in there but he does not know the value or market of things.
Why are you buying storage locker contents, it's someone else junk?
But it's fun!
Some of it was treasure to the owner and they didn't want to leave it. One is always hoping the owner forgot some actual treasure.
Should have paid you to take it
