Joel really is like Jeff in that the persona he gives off is just a show. He’s really a little emotional bean that loves his friends and is super genuine.

I think a surprising number of actors don't actually watch shows they're on. During filming they don't have much free time, and during off season it's probably the last thing they wanna think about. Considering this seems to have been made at the end of filming season 6, I think it makes sense.

This show never got the recognition it deserved. The writing and acting was incredible. There are still things I notice rewatching it to this day. Such a rich universe and a love letter to the fans every week.

The best part: Troy’s absence caused them to fall apart, but Jeff’s absence led to the happiest scene in the episode.
