- This 2020 High Country Duramax has RUINED my 2020 Duramax... Both trucks are fully tuned and deleted. My 2020 AT4 Duramax is running same day tuning DSP5 switch. The silver high country has all the piping done to the engine bay which makes a huge difference with the turbo whistle on these trucks.

You can 100% hear way better air flow out of the silver L5p. I have a deleted L5p as well and as soon as I put the intake and turbo mouth piece on changed the air flow a lot sounds identical to the silver truck in your video. I don’t have any of the other piping yet just intake and turbo mouth piece. Helps the truck pull in a lot more air and you definitely here it out the back end
And most definitely made the throttle response a lot better!
I preferred the GMC front end 👍🏽 MY local dealership was all outta GMCs so I went for the 2021 Silverado HD 🤔 It has definitely grown on me already ☝🏽
It’s most likely the tune. I bought a deleted lml tuned by the same company. My turbo spools just like that L5P.

I used to love the GMC front end soooo much more, but now, like you said, the Chevy front end is definitely groing on me. Either or are still my dream trucks😍. Also, your thumbnails right! You definitely do need those parts! That turbo spooling down sounded so much better on the Chevy. So damn jealous of both of your trucks!😂

My l5p sounds the same and I have same things done tunes from Canada and I LOVE it highly recommended spending the money . Plus on race tune she screams .
I had the toughest decision buying one of these trucks, That front on the High Country sold me...the bronze in lay carries into the interior and when coupled with the Umbra...you can not beat it. So yeah I sold my 2020 Tremor to buy this Chevy..so far I am happy...Now comes the hard part of deciding how to mod it...not sure if I should go Level or 4 in lift. Do not want to sacrifice the usuability of this truck. I tow alot, and do not want the trailers shredded with rocks, So i want to keep wheels inside the wells. The black 2020 you did with the level kit looked sweet. Stock wheels and 37's...Think that would be the direction I want to go...Great Channel btw!!! Truth be told which gives better ride?
Badass trucks. That Chevy whistle though.. plan on doing something similar on my 19 6.7 power stroke.
The Chevy’s are more subtle, I went with a LTZ when I bought in 2020, I felt like the GMC was a bit over styled, but its just a personal preference.
Is there any specific CAI you recommend for the L5P?

It’s def a high country that grille is boss . I do have one kind of don’t know if that makes me biased but I have considered the Denali but I went with the Chevy

I like them both, respectfully. Can’t go wrong with either of them. I do honestly prefer the round wheel well of the Chevrolet, AT4 is badass tho. Props to GM.

I've been contemplating a newer L5P. I'm a little worried about the 10L1000. How are they holding up? I've heard many mixed reviews. I'd be towing light and mainly pleasure vehicle. What seems to be the happy tune that keeps the stock parts alive. ?

Ive always had Chevrolet trucks...when i bought my 2020 Denali..i chose it over the 2020 High Country for the soecific reason i DID NOT like the Chevrolet Grill period. This is my first ever GMC..i just couldnt get over how horrible the Chevy front end..

Gmcs have usually always looked better, even now the denali duramax looks the best to me. However that chevy high country is a really close 2nd
Same here I had a 2019 gmc sierra 1500, with a 3'5 inch lift blacked out. But I needed a 2500 duramax for work, I found that GMC looks shit in white, I didn't want black so I went with the high country but to look at I still think the GMC looks better but screw black always dirty, shit also high country has better interior in my opinion.
