As a Springfield native I drive by this a lot now, and every single time I drive by, I catch myself just looking so intensely like I've never seen it before. But I have to remember I'm driving, so I have to be careful of my staring! Every time I drive by, I think to myself how happy that I live in central Illinois where such profound history has happened.
