I’m a Warden main
When I was younger, I had two sisters, and they were often the ones who got to watch movies they liked, while I only got to do so every now and then, but there was a movie I quite enjoyed, not because of the entire movie but because of the final battle; Sleeping Beauty, and the reason for that was because the prince was a noble swordsman fighting a giant, terrifying dragon, and that’s what I liked, I loved watching a heroic knight battle with the forces of evil, and so from a young age, it was my obsession, knights and swords
As I grew up, I took to drawing and storytelling, and I made several little “books” about noble knights fighting evil and ultimately triumphing in an epic clash of blades between the hero and the ultimate villain, so is it any surprise that I fell in love with games such as Skyrim and Legend of Zelda?
A few years ago, I saw a video from a series called Game Lab that was all about sword fighting, of course I got interested, but when good old Matpat began talking about For Honor, my only thought was “Technique based sword combat? I need this game!”
Of course, that was years ago, these days, I play it almost all the time, I can’t get enough of triumphing over my enemies as the noble Warden, and while swords and shields are cool and all, being able to wield an enormous long sword, plus all the Warden’s amazing cosmetics, definitely make him my number one
And whenever I play Warden, I feel in a better mood, it can change depending on what happens in the match I play, but for the most part, win or lose, I don’t like to complain too often

I mean, people are stupid so there is usually NO reason to do anything but the same stuff with nobushi - everybody falls for it.
Oh that, and the fact that all the attacks do very little damage unless you have already hit a bleed yet still take lots of stamina + the fact that changing stance is incredibly slow meaning you WILL be punished if you don't play at long range means there no reason to do anything but poke.

The Leaderboard You actually chose the conqueror for a deep personal reason. Your a team player, but you love how hes different in a way. The guy can take a hit and is an underdog. When you beat every single character, including other conquerors, and the opponent is greater than prestige 3 you feel great. You hate spammers , and by choosing a character built around his shield bash and not spamming you feel great. You upheld your honor, with honor. And the conqueror dance shows your fun side.
P.S. This is what the description for the conqueror should have probably been.

As a dreaded Orochi main, I can confirm that even we hate the light spammers. Orochi is a lot more than just light spam, there’s this thing called “deflect” and “parry” maybe try learning them and incorporating them into the character that is BUILT FOR COUNTERATTACKING.
