The Noosa Bar and Bay. Tuesday morning, July 16, 2024.

A beautiful blue sky morning here in Noosa. Very, very chilly, however, with an icy 5 to 7 knot westerly breeze blowing at the river mouth. Little or no swell on the bar, apart from the odd curler out the back. BOM forecast is for westerly winds 15 to 20 knots, reaching up to 30 knots offshore in the late afternoon and evening. Seas: Around 1 metre, increasing to 1.5 to 2.5 metres offshore. Swell: Southerly below 1 metre inshore, increasing to around 1 metre offshore. Filmed between 6.30am and 7.00am which was about a couple of hours before a 0.71m low tide. Background Music: 'A Trip Around the Moon'... by unicorn Heads.
