Spider-Man 2 is basically the Prototype X inFAMOUS crossover game we always wanted if you think about it. One hero is a scientist who gains the power to manipulate shapeshifting biomass, that power is attached to an infectious hive mind that tries to take over New York, he has a special relationship with the hive mind's master who is also the antagonist, the more he uses this power the more he begins to lose his humanity, and he himself is partially responsible for the infectious outbreak even happening. The other hero manipulates bio-elecricity, those powers change colour based on his morality/emotions, can absorb electricity from other sources, he goes in a quest of revenge after one of the villains kills someone he loves, has a nerdy and intelligent best friend who helps him with his objectives, and kills his final boss through a massive explosion that disintegrates them.

@@faizanahmed8561 Insomniac Spiderman almost being killed by a stab from Kraven's knife while Alex Mercer survived a nuclear explosion capable of vaporizing the entire city of New York and is superior to beings like James Heller who was able to split the moon in half in a diagram from the upgrade menu (yes, the diagrams in the upgrade menu are canon since they directly and indirectly express what Heller can canonically do just by evolving), Mercer is also superior to Greene who creates powerful earthquakes that cover large parts of Manhattan, Furthermore, the Greene earthquake was considered a large-scale earthquake, in short, a very strong earthquake, plus Alex is superior to the Goliaths, the same creatures which have impenetrable skin and lightning-fast attacks (this is said in the promotional material for the game), also according to the guide the Goliaths are immune to Blackwatch weapons (this includes thermobaric weapons and nuclear weapons) this is consistent since in the same guide it is said that the Goliaths are the strongest infected beasts, so the Goliaths should be more powerful than Greene and the Supreme Hunter, the same Supreme Hunter who claimed to be able to tank the nuclear bomb that would vaporize New York City by simply consuming Alex, the Blacklight virus has claims to be beyond of evolution itself and being able to wipe out the entire planet. I'm surprised that we are in 2024 and people still believe that Alex Mercer is only small town level when realistically Alex Mercer is country level to multi-continental based on feats and statements seen in the game.
