Sink your water dishes ground level, helps access. Nice tortoises! I have 2 sulcatas and they are my zen! I live in Florida too, makes it easy!

Great job guys! It’s fun building outdoor habitats and watching them develop over time.

I love this video, but I think the Theon Greyjoy reference was the best part 😂🖤 game of thrones and animal videos are two of my favorite things

Provide them both with a dry and a moist hide. Use moistened sphagnum moss for thr wet hide.

Hi, thanks so much for your video was a pleasure to see your babies. I have a Hermann in the UK and when I put he/she outside she eats for 15 mins and then goes into the wooden house and doesn't come out again all day. She/he moves slowly outside so I thought maybe something wrong but when you put her in the house she moves very quickly. It's like she hates being outside and I don't know why. Any advice would be appreciated.

You want some natural grazing for them. greass and weeds.

    Do tortoises need friends?

From what we have heard, red foot tortoises are actually social and do very well in groups!

I recomend putting baby oil on their shells as it keeps them from getting dry and makes the shells really shiny 😁

It can clog their pores so be careful

Just so you know adult box turtles are mostly herbivorous so don’t feed him too much protien

And make sure that Redfoot that has the injury is getting lots of calcium to help heal his shell wound

Guys you better not feeding your Herman tortoise any fruit you going to kill them

    • @FloridasWildest

No tortoise has died from eating fruit occasionally as a snack, but okay
