Barbara loved film festivals. Attended them up until a few years ago. RIP!
Barbara Rush ..absolute perfection.
What a woman.
Cucchiara : August 2021.Barbara Rush is still alive.
She's 94 years old. (Born January 4, 1927 )
@@ebayerr yes, I knew that. I just remarked on her beauty and class. Be well, friend.
@@Ilostmyfob : Thanks.You as well.
I saw Miss Rush onstage in Steel Magnolias, about a year before the film was released. She played M'Lynn and she was quite good, but unfortunately she had a seemingly uncontrollable palsy, similar to Katharine Hepburn's. I thought perhaps she might have had Parkinson's disease, but I could find no information confirming that. Anyway, it was thrilling to see her in person.
Barbara Rush is beautiful.
Long neck in a woman or in a man is an absolute sign of distintion. My mum had a long neck as Barbara, delicate, lovely, in 1966 my mumy had 38 years old. Wow! I was born in Feb. 1967, what a beautiful era, it can be percepted how life style was.
BOTH STARS....SO LOVELY.....john is so sweet....Rush..beautifuk
Wow. John Forsythe is so handsome.
I was 1 year old this year.
😊
Barbara Rush is still with us at 97.
Actually, she's 94. 😉
I think Barbara had the right idea for the word "Lone" for "Ranger," but especially being an actress, I think if she had, sort of like a TV announcer deepened her voice a little and robustly exclaimed, "LOOOOOOOOONNNEEE..." - That could have done it.
Watching these two contestants was very painful for some reason.
I love it when the camera pans the 60’s audience during the intro! Old farts in cat-eye and horn-rimmed glasses galore!
Barbara Rush is just so... *CLASSY!*
For "Wrong," he did the right thing, going up very well in that Passwordian way (to denote an opposite). After she didn't get it, he should have simply use the word "opposite." If she had said "Left" he could have then said "other". That should have gotten it.
It's unfortunate that we can't see the full episodes. This episode had a lot of annoying edits in it so GSN could shove in a lot of commercials.
I like Password shows. But all the flattering adjectives they use when introducing the celebrities as opposed to the contestants is a little much.
I've never seen a case, that I can remember, of folks not adding up the clues as with the word "Rescue." It seems like SOS threw everyone off?
For "Government," I think "Federalllll....." might have done it even as a first clue. (?)
Or maybe saying all 3 branches one at a time.
Yeah , she's lovely
But she's gorgeous and a 10
MY FANTASY A GAME SHOW HOST
Barbara Rush looked great at age 40.
Yes and at any age! Perfect example of a beautiful mature woman.
Mr. Pettis: Do you have any references?
George Roundy: I do Barbara Rush.
Fashion model Ms. Penne Lamb was in the right profession.
Barbara Rush's hairdo...wow!
With John Forsythe, it's the dimples.
I wanted to laugh my head off with the government one
That woman is so nice, even the way she wears her dress.
Exquisita formality!
How I can live in 1966, does someone know a sort of transportation throw the time? Please.
Cristian, Santiago, Chile.
Barbara looks amazing.
0:23 Good Lord
How could they not get rescue after John said SOS???
probably would have said ABBA lol.
John Forsythe must have been quite huggable
His dimples when he smiles are adorable
barbara rush wore a wig for years
Really? I always wondered why her hair looked the same from the 1960s and all throughout the 1970s.
With a voice like John Forsythe's why do you need to do anything else?
"Penne Lamb is in my ears, but doesn't have i's"...
Government:Nanny State.
"Nanny State" may define your home state, but it is an illegal two word clue, Dip. Surprised you didn't reflect on your perennial primary source of income and suggest "welfare" or "handout."
Relax, Allen.
He said, "you over acted." 😅
Alan is certainly inconsistent.Sometimes the contestant has all day to guess or give the clue, then the very next person gets 5 seconds just as they start.
The false eyelashes drive me crazy. You would think she would have trouble keeping her eyes open. 🐼
Penne was just saying her answer so quickly like she wasn't even listening to Barbara's clue.
It's strange how she did so well with John Forsythe and then switched partners and seemed to lose all her concentration.
Elizabeth Montgomery and Barbara Eden and Barbara rush 🔥 I'm getting flushed .
Description of "leadership" wouldn't be accurate meaning in today's world.
What a rip off ! They used to make $500, now they make $350 ! I suppose if they still played the game now, they'd be making $25 !!! BTW, Barbara is so pretty, it hurts !
SOS is not three initials or three words. It's the singular international distress code for radio and similar. Dr. Goodman screwed up.
But each letter has a dot S.O.S. in strict rigor is not a word. For example if I say Village People (imagine a band as secret band) you can not say WMCA as a word.
Kisses and huggs from SouthAmerica.
@@crist67mustang .. Again, there are no initials or words in the internationally recognized distress signal. Look it up in a dictionary. Unlike your "YMCA, it is not an abbreviation or shortening for some word or words. It stands alone as "SOS" (no periods & no words), thus not contrary to the rules of this show.
@@robinstewart6510 Ok, darling. Thanks for response me
😉
I thought it stands for Save Our 🚢 Ship !?
It's associated with that but that is not the meaning. It has no meaning. The letters are not an abbreviation
