This is so intense. Thankfully, my sleep paralysis is quiet. Only visual and no sounds at all. If mine has sound, I will probably be panicking more than I did when I experienced it.

This is nothing 😉 the real thing is worse. Much worse. Especially after you’ve had it 9 times in a single night and you’re so tired, you can’t stay awake... but you know what happens the moment you fall asleep.
As someone that gets from sleep paralysis very often this is like 40% accurate
I usually do hear the banging and vibrations next to my hears, I hear voices of people talking to me (specially whispering things) , weird sounds and just my ears ringing. It’s pretty scary but not really sounds of people talking normally or animals or any of the horror movies stuff. It’s a lot more worse than you think. Sleep paralysis feel pretty real.
Yeah, that's what I think. I get it a lot too.

As someone who deals with sleep paralysis pretty frequently... It can be truly terrifying.
Also, I have mild narcolepsy, so sometimes right before I fall asleep or when I wake up suddenly, I will see my dreams projected around me, even if I'm not paralyzed.
Worst moment of my life was when i got a bad grade and i got extremely scared of my abusive father coming home (it was like 1pm and he comes home at 2pm) and my mom already yelled at me when i told her that im scared so i just ran into my room and cried and suddenly i fell asleep and i had a lucid dream that turned into a nightmare so i tried to wake up asap and then i had my first sleep paralysis which was terrifying and when i finally woke up i was extremely glad i did, until i remembered why i fell asleep in the first place. I escaped from the real world to my dream world, only to escape to the real world again and realize there is no safe place for me. And thats why it was one of the worst moments ive ever experienced
I was able to last the whole time, mainly because I was able to slow my heart beat.
I had a realistic nightmare where I needed to fight to survive and so since I thought I was in real danger then I just thought of having a clear head and not hyperventilate.
I was able to keep myself calm enough were I stayed in the nightmare, until I was killed defending my self from multiple attackers.
Bro you good

@@kstarwalker4905 like to stay calm I've been trying to stay calm when something happens but I always forget
@@ezamir218 I sometimes panic too; when I know that I'm panicking, for a moment or two I take a few deep breaths and sometimes close my eye, I think of the problem, then I act on the best course of action. I sometimes still have fear, however, I have a clear head and I can use the fear "abilities" in bursts as needed.
I believe that someone's personal life experiences or circumstances can/will make it easier or harder to use. If you look back on a scary, bad or dangerous situation, remember that fear and practice to clear head. Now I'm NOT saying to put yourself in harms way to practice. I know a good why is to play VR games that have what you're afraid of in it, for example, some common fears like hights, spiders and small spaces however, if you don't have a strong heart or can't use it a scary movie might be better.
(This information is NOT to be taken as "one size fits all" it can/will be different for some if not most people and NOT a garantee to 100% of the time for those it does work for.)
I'm going to play this on the xbox live party at night

Do this: Listen to this video with headphones at like 2 in the morning, eyes closed, and don't cover yourself with a blanket, no nightlight, no moving
Pro tip: sleeping on your side decreases your chance of having sleep paralysis even more if you on your chest. I have never had sleep paralysis and I normally sleep on my side idk I’m pretty sure I heard that from a study but I’m not sure.
I’m not scared bruh I have experienced worse than this ong

One tip if you have sleep paralysis:
Try to not focus on it. Do not look at the monster if you can. Do not panic it will make it worse:(. Think of something nice abt your family, friend etc..
Try to move if you can^^. I hope this helped I don’t know so much because I didn’t have ever in my life a sleep paralysis if you pray before you sleep then InshAllah that won’t happen

You see, I am currently terrified. Want to know why? Because these sounds are common sounds that I hear in my house at night. I go to check and there’s nothing there. I go back to bed, and I hear them again. Then I see my door open on its own, but there’s nothing there. I always found this weird, but I learn’t to live with it. A few years later, my door opened again. But there was something there. It was a dark figure with a top hat on his head. It seemed like he had no eyes. I was terrified, until I woke up and it was gone. I didn’t know what I saw that day , or night but I never wanted to see it again. Then I moved out of my house and then my parents started saying they keep seeing the same stuff I kept telling them about. It was horrifying, but now I realise. Something was living in my house, sleep paralysis or not. I kept on seeing my door open, but the time I saw the man…I couldn’t move my body. I could only move my eyes and anyways, I didn’t Realy care anymore. I learn’t to get over it and got on with my life.

This is much less scary than real sleep paralysis. Usually during real sleep paralysis there is a dread you can literally feel. Usually what gives me control is meditating on Jesus or trying to call out to him in some way.
@@matthewschardtii1338 Luckily I've only had mild sleep paralysis. No hallucinations or nothing like that
@@kuromi8384 I've had a few during the last few years. The sleep paralysis experiences I have usually start out as dreams then I enter into them.
In my most recent one I felt a terrible dread come over me and I couldn't move. This happened in November of last year. In this experience I felt an arm reach over me at an angle to pin me down. Like usual I was terrified and it was hard to speak, but suddenly a thought occurred to me.
I've been reading books on Christian spirituality, one of them being "How to See in the Spirit" by Michael Van Vlymen. In the book he talks about how the imagination can be used as a bridge to have Heavenly Encounters.
So during the sleep paralysis experience a thought suddenly occurred to me to meditate on the Lord Jesus and focus on him in my imagination. Suddenly I believe I saw a faint star then I woke up relieved
I have real sleep paralysis, and it's nothing like this. It's way, way worse.
The fact that I actually fell asleep to this... Yeah I'm sleep deprived

only one of my sleep paralysis demons ever spoke so this video was intriguing to say the least.
anyone wondering it was a typical little ghost girl like from the ring who was whispering in my ear and staring at me through a blanket. the other two were toshio saeki in the corner of my room staring and carol from where the wild things are chasing me into a room then trying to find me.
My psychosis is like this. I hear stuff like this plus voices clear as fuck voices and sounds. It's really nutty. But it happens when I'm awake, when I dream but not through a state of unable to woke up. When. I dream I can wake but I widely assorted and different shit in dreams, when I'm awake it's very consistent voices and sounds. Life is fucking tripper than this for me.
The scariest part was the add after the video ended 😭it was so loud

Tip for the creator: I recommend having some kind of steady noise to keep the theme consistent. An air conditioner, cicadas chirping, main character breathing (although I don't think you should have the main character make any noise at all, since the main character is supposed to be the one listening) or something like that.
Agreed. I always feel like the "character breathing" sort of pulls me out of the immersion, instead of bringing me into it. I try to intentionally match my breathing to the character and it just makes it awkward.
ive been trough sleep paralysis, i was not even able to breathe, or even open my mouth. You are aware that you are sleeping, but also aware that you are awake. That sound you are hearing is what is called as a *shadow demon*. In my expierence it were multiple shadows preforming some sort of ritual until a even bigger shaddow appeared out of the ritual. At that point i finally snapped and woke up. Truly the most scary experience lf my life

Very smart.
any tips? what exactly is your method?
@@zoiemarks One is when you know you're starting to panic, close you eyes (optional) , take a few deep breaths and try to plan your way out of the situation before you act, if possible. Second is practice, do something to induce fear but non-lethal and doesn't send you to the hospital like, scary movies, games, VR, 360 sounds, etc.

@@haylee.stalker it's not really a condition nor a syndrome of any kind. It's can happen to anyone at any time. Its actually common for those who tend to wake up right at the initial stages of the REM sleep cycle. You can actually induce it by consciously relaxing every muscle in your body and breathing deeply with your eyes closed without moving. If you have a sleep paralysis, here's some tips to "escape" it.
1- Think of something nice. You don't want to the sleep paralysis to get worse, so try hard as you can to think of something relaxing or just peaceful.
2- Wake up or dream. You're half way asleep but your brain is conscious, you can one of two thing. 1) Wake up, so start moving your fingers or your eyes to slowly wake up you body, remember to continue thinking of something peaceful. Or 2) Go into a lucid dream, whatever you were doing put you in a perfect position to have a lucid dream with a technic called WILD, now just think of you in your dream while ignoring the sleep paralysis as much as you can.
Hope it helps someone, if I'm incorrect in something let me know~

Tho I think it differs to different patients, as a person who suffers from sleep paralysis, I do not hear these sounds at all, it is not that much of a horror scene, the panic mostly comes from the brain knowing or at least thinking you should awake, and when you try to move or have any action, you find out you can't, which includes breathing as well. For me it feels like being stuck under something like a building or so, I'd say it's rather like a disaster or a catastrophe than like a horror movie, and tho it's nothing like the audio, it is truly a terrible experience.

The only time I had a sleep paralysis, I saw that shadow guy with a hat and a black coat that everyone sees. He was just looking at me behind the curtains but that's it. I got scared mostly bc I thought someone was in my house and not bc I was seeing a shadow man. I've heard some have experienced way worse and it's scary idk what I would do if I was in their shoes...
So I dont have sleep paralysis but I also see that same exact shadow man. But I see mine with a top hat, I dont know about the coat though. And all he really does it watch me sleep and just watch me in general. But I also see other shadow people. What are some of your story's. If it's ok, you don't have to.
For me I see it all the time in the one place that I should normally feel safe in,my parents room. I see everything so clearly…Even after years they never leave. At this point I need a lamp on if I want to have a decent rest
Nah I didn’t see that I saw a cat eye why is everyone seeing the man I see while showering?
I see a spindle tall black person with glowing eyes looking through my window, this scared the shit out of me!
I’ve never had sleep paralysis but I’m terrified of it can you explain it to me? Like is it scary, how long does it last, etc.
That was kinda scary but it's crazy how real it feels at times 😨😨
