Thank you for the recipe I have a star fruit tree in my backyard in Northern Florida this tree never fails grows abundantly fruits every year they are quite sweet but I never know what to do with it except slice and eat it thanks for this recipe.

Yes, I like this one. I'm down to only three overripe starfruit/Chinese jimbilin/carambola because most were given away or eaten. The sweetener I hope to use is honey - cauz a little goes a long way 🙂😋

In Jamaica we have two types the sour and sweet . I've tasted the ones in the U.S and those were sour too. You can juice them with a sweet fruit to bring out the flavor.
