"That's an amazing view right there!". Norway is indeed an amazing backdrop; their background as Norwegians I am endlessly fascinated from a cultural perspective.

I love that you just come out and testify to your true nature when you stop the video, and say (paraphrasing), "this is me, this is where I'm from, this is where my aspirations are", I feel you could give no better compliment. Will always love and remember that!

I really like the experience you draw on when you give your reaction and analysis. It really shows you know what you are talking about. And specific to this song, I am thrilled that you felt it, and it was clear to me that you felt it. I really enjoyed that!

Man, you made my day! These guys get nowhere near the love and respect that their talent warrants. Glad you're going down the rabbit hole; so much more to show you with Norway's Dynamic Duo!!!

You see the cap with "Holmlia" on it. That's the neighborhood in Oslo, Norway where Nico is from. Vinz grew up in Lambersteer. Both from Oslo.

I like that you come from a recording and production standpoint when you look at recordings. Helps me to get a deeper appreciation about the song and how it was made.

So happy you're ready to go down the rabbit hole with these guys. I think you'll find their style is very diverse and hard to put into a box.

Vinz's mom is the older black lady, Mrs. Dery, who is wearing an "Envy" shirt and makes a little wave to the camera. Both of these parents had key roles in their respective children's musical development. Lots of backstory to the childhoods of Nico and Vinz;.

I'm telling you, man! I REALLY appreciate you did this! Now if I could just get all of the other Nico and Vinz fans who are wringing their hands about this band's lack of acknowledgement to just come and watch these reaction videos! They would realize that when you do classic work, it ultimately always gets recognized. It's just a matter of time! And thanks to you, Anwar, for giving us a chance!

Nico and Vinz are truly Norwegian music royalty. That's why I'm so keen to show you the Nico and Vinz on Tour in Norway Series. They also have an American tour series they did, really quite impressive, but after that one tour, I think a power struggle started between Nico and Vinz and Warner where Warner was trying to slap controls on Nico and Vinz. And then I just had a great realization. Nico and Vinz, just this past year, went out on their own record label-Island Records. However, that would mean they left Warner? Because, if they did, that means their money stream for all of these productions, supporting bands included, was cut. I know they still do tours of Norway, but I hope they don't just become a Nico and Vinz tribute band. Truth be told, they have a lot of songs in their 10 year discography, but I saw no new songs on their setlist.
It's ironic. One of the key reasons that the Beatles broke up was because they quit touring, and became a studio-only band, and slowly began to lose their chemistry. With Nico and Vinz, it appears the situation is the reverse; they do live performances (this time without the band; only a DJ providing the backing) but I wonder, will these guys ever record a new song in the studio again? If they've left Warner, they will no longer have the Nico and Vinz studio bus to record in any more.
In an interview, Vinz Dery made a remark that made it sound like he was saying that you can get away with anything singing in the studio there are so many tricks available, and that the hard part was to sing live. Which I think they both do very well. But I certainly do not want new studio tracks from Nico and Vinz to dry up. Still waiting for new music. Their last single they released was "Forever" in March '23.

As to your point about how different it is to see a mosh pit at a hip hop concert. . .this is the cultural phenomenon which is these two. They have a genius of being able to draw people from different cultural backgrounds into their own musical and cultural "mix". I am definitely a test case. Nico and Vinz have DEFINITELY pulled my musical interests into styles I previously ignored and would not likely, on my own, have discovered. For me, they are the "Pied Pipers" of music; I find myself following them and loving the music wherever they go musically.

You say a lot in a few words. . .like that about your analysis and critique. Everything you say I find very solid factually, and, as a result, I go deeper on the song by watching your reaction program and insights into the song. And this is the process that I love from watching reaction videos.

That's Nico's dad, Mr. Sereba, you see immediately after Nico's opening lines. In the second shot Mr. Sereba has a camera, so he's easy to recognize.

The guy in the shower is the mutual friend who introduced Nico and Vinz to each other, Ammanuel Kildane, who became Nico and Vinz's first manager. Unfortunately, they fired him (under pressure from Warner?) and hired Warner's John Riley, a Brooklyn guy, who was much more a "corporate Nazi" than poor Ammanuel ever was. They fired Ammanuel in 2019. It created a huge ruckus in Norway and was in front page news there.

They both just turned 33 in '23. Both will be 34 on their birthdays this year.
