⟡Theme: Danganronpa 3: The End of Hope's Peak High School - Future Arc⟡
Silhouetted upon the backdrop of a mysterious high school, six young teens embark on a mission with one premise - to kill or be killed. As they travel into the unknown, they are forced to murder one another as a means to survive, not knowing who or perhaps what is controlling them.
How our entry relates to the anime:
The story of danganronpa revolves around a killing game between a group of “ultimate” high schoolers; we adapted that and assigned every member an “ultimate” role (with the exception of our artists, who were assigned the roles of Monokuma and Monomi instead). The animation’s theme is the killing game itself: each chorus represents a trial and the instrumental breaks narrate events that take place between trials. In addition, our visuals are heavily inspired by Danganronpa’s style, as seen from the character art and animation setup.

For those wondering why some of the characters didn’t sing: each character is the OC of someone who took part in this project, including vocalists and post production staff.
Specifically, the blond short hair character is the audio mixer, the purple twintails girl (me) is the PV animator and personified Monokuma+Monomi are the character artists. The four of us did not sing.
I get that you think it’d make more sense for us to have sung, but we didn’t script this cover based on the PV; we made the PV based on the cover, and the cover was for a chorus battle (CB), not a personal project. If you don’t know what a CB is feel free to look it up. I hope this explains some things! :)
Also, non-singing members are actually just as if not more important in a production like this. If you don’t realize that you should educate yourself by looking up how any song, cover or original, is produced :)
