Bruh, WD-40 is a lubricant, a big NO in breaks world. You need a break cleaner and only break cleaner to remove the grease and oils which come from factory to protect rusting of the discs (rotors) on the shelf.
Also, you need to address that torn rubber asap, as soon as you get dirt and water in those joints, they will behave like sanding paper inside of them, completely destroying those CV joints.

Thanks for the information! That is kind of why i did it to see if others thought it was bad idea. We use to use wd-40 for everything, but you are correct. DON'T USE wd-40 live an learn (i did say don't quote me rofl). I was out of break cleaner. Ill go get some and and use break cleaner. I ordered a new axle and it'll be in before I drive it anywhere.

I like that name very cute :D Fitting of this car. Idk people like to talk smack about the Yaris, but its a very dependable car and i think the hatch looks cool. (The sedan is cool too lol)
Ours is DD or delivery driver :p . But im thinking about changing the name to Yaurirtle and seeing if we can make it look like a Squirtle lol
