When I was born, the situation in my hometown was quite similar to this. However, things had improved a lot since 15 years ago, and there were no such houses anymore. But this village still remained the same until 2019, which is even very rare in China.

You're always showing the worst part of the country and call it the real China. Only once you showed the cities were a vast majority of Chinese are living.
What shocked me was that there were still such impoverished places in 2019. You can take a look at one of the Chinese comments（by@rayx8329: 说实话，我真没想到四川还有这么穷的地方） below this video, it means "I never expected that there could be such poor places in Sichuan. Actually, most Chinese people don't even know that there are still such poor places." I don't hate China, Why would I hate my own country? These contents are pretty much normal in China.
