I have the blue jag rb4 guitar and was honestly wondering if you could do the machine work and possibly send me everything you personally used. I’m more than willing to pay for your time and all the components like the brackets, switches, screws and so forth. I can definitely do the soldering, just not that good at the other stuff, mainly because I hate the stock switches and miss the gh3 guitar switches.

Yeah id be down for the work. I am on a break right now while my kids are out of school but when I come back in a few weeks I'd be down to mock up a the plate and some parts.

Thank you very much. I greatly appreciate that. I was thinking of going with the strum fix plus 3, but then saw your vid and I like yours a lot more.

i commented on your short about your strum fix mod because i was interested in getting a strum fix plus 2 for a rb1 strat. i wanted to see how you did it because i like how the guitar looks oem by reusing its stock strum bar and not having it be replaced by a really large 3d printed one. the rb1 strat is on loan to me by a friend and i took it apart cause some plastic was rattling around inside and i wanted to see if something was broken. thankfully nothing was messed up but i noticed how the strum worked in that it didnt use magnetic sensors but it just has 2 terminals that get touched together when its strummed. theres another tutorial out there where the guy just used keyboard switches and hot glued them in but he had to do some shell modification. i watched your flying v short like 10 times and i thought about getting one and an arduino for cheaper than the strum fix and using that but everyone in the clone hero discord always hounds it for being bad. i swear you mentioned at the end of a video somewhere that you swapped the neck on yours with an xplorer one but i cant find the video again for the life of me. if i arduino mod to alleviate the dongle gripes and swap the neck are the strum and whammy serviceable enough to use or should i just get a cheap wiitar?

I'd avoid the strum fix plus at all costs. It is just not a great solution and is sadly disappointing. As for a flying V with arduino, it is a great option if you're willing to do the work to make it so. I believe i mentioned the neck swap in some other video at the end in just a quick second. I am doing another one with a neck swap from an xplorer atm and can show the tricks I use to make the guitar play well. Because the strum bar also needs some modifying to make it feel better. The red one with xplorer neck is my buddy's go to and the only guitar he plays with when we hang out, he absolutely loves it and has done his best fc's with said guitar.

@@ninjapwnsatlyfe id want to see how you spruced up the v because i think its a really cool shape. i cant even find a junk xplorer thats "for parts" for less than 40 dollars so i might have to look into other necks. ive seen some cheap v's but havent pulled the trigger yet because im worried about my ability to make it usable

My buddy just picked up a cheap V for 20 bucks that I will be making for him hopefully in this next week. I also wanna piggy back on my comment about them being great when the time is put in. My double body guitar i've been working on for like 6 months on and off plays amazing and it uses two V bodies. just had to modify the strum bar and switches alike. Ill make sure to cover all the ways to make them great playing in my upcoming video

@@ninjapwnsatlyfe all my parts came the other day and i built my own v. it took me 10 hours consecutively but it all worked out. i used the black v that has the dpad and a kramer neck + an arduino. the v got slammed in shipping or something and snapped the whammy off its post but the rocking mechanism and potentiometer were fine so i had to swap the whammy with my longer strat one but it all worked out. kramer neck was way too thick so i had to saw the back of it which makes the rear look a little ugly but everything is all set. i didnt wire the tilt or the dpad or the guide button but maybe ill split it and wire it up. the arduino only has so many digital pins so i might have to leave out something. it plays way better than my stock rb1 strat in so many ways but man is the strum bar squeaky

bro what type of the switches, i cant find one with your same clicking sound

They are basic automation limit switches. I have a full i depth video on the mod itself. Sadly it took a lot of work to get perfect but clicky strums are 100% needed

Is it possible to pay you to mod a guitar for me? I love the guitar hero strumming but I much prefer the Rockband guitars. Me and the sibling played this all through our childhood and I recently picked up a RB4 Jaguar PS4. I would be happy to pay you for the service plus shipping and handling. Please get back to me. Thank you.

Would love to do this to my beatles rockband bass was wondering if I could just pay you to do it for me? If not i saw that you would be willing to do the hardware fabrication and just send out a kit. Ide be ok with doing that but if your willing to do it for me ide much rather go that route. I just work to much and dont think i could find the time.

I have been mia since last spring but have slowly been getting things done for everyone else. I dont really do send ins anymore but I wouldn't be against mocking something up and sending it your way. I have 2 Beatles Bass guitars so it would be easy to use as a guide

Are there videos on how to make your own strum bar? I don't play guitar hero but I think that's what it's called. I'm planning to use it as the switch for a controller to play osu with. Here's the video that inspired me to do so. ruclips.net/video/ar-Krx-U3lU/видео.html
